Ivan Toney gotta be in the GAMBLE tier surely

I'd say I have a very controversial opinion on Osimhen and he should be on the stay away list for us, he's got a track record in injuries (we really don't need that), he's had a dip in form (low confidence), he costs 110 mil so he's going to have an insanely high amount of pressure on him to perform, historically speaking all of our 60 mil+ purchases could arguably all be labelled as flops if not players who have been underwhelming. Would rather have a young tall striker with a 50-70 mil price tag brimming with confidence and with a good track record of staying fit.

I did not realise Rafeal Leao, Antony, Rashford and Neymar are Strikers.

For me Isak is the way to go, excellent technical skill, young, premier league experience, not to expensive and an incredible finisher 🔥he would be worth it

the more i’ve watched Toney this year, i just feel like he’s perfect for us. imagine him with palmer & nkunku in attack, they would compliment each other so well. for me it’s no surprise he hasn’t had the greatest season when he doesn’t have great forwards to link up with. he’s also a bit older and could definitely teach jackson a thing or two

I’d rather go for Isak, he’s a huge presence. He doesn’t need to get into the box to beat a goalkeeper ❤

Gyokeres would be my personal pick. He's developed a lot, and he seems very adaptable to the front line. I'd love kabe to come to chelsea and win the league with us, just to piss off spurs lol

Toney is the most realistic option and the best. He’s prem proven which we need, experienced which we need, won’t cost upwards of £60m and has an incredibly well rounded game suited to leading the line for Chelsea. He’s the closest thing to Drogba and Costa available here and personally to me it’s a no brainer. Isak, Kane and Watkins are just unrealistic, Gyokeres and Osimhen are gonna cost you twice as much and I think have way more bust potential tbh.

Watkins and Sesko for me (it’s not even up for discussion! Watkins would be a massive success at Chelsea.

Kane would be a terrible signing. Not only would he be insanely expensive, but whenever he joins a team he completely changes how they play. Hence why Bayern r so bad this year. He causes the whole team to play around him which would only hinder Palmer, nkunku, and madueke. We should build the team around Palmer.

We need 2 strikers so I'd say Gyokeres and keep Lukaku. Ofc Isak is amazing and he would account for everything Chelsea needs in attack, if we can buy him. I am not ready to hear we paid 130+ millions on Osimhen, Kane, Lautaro or Toney for them to get injured or not play well. We have players that play bang average in midfield and Palmer had a great season, but I'll not put him next to Essien, Lampard or Ballack, yet. With that in mind no striker in the world right now would be a certainty for us. So i'd say do not buy anything expensive cause everything IS a gamble for us right now. In my opinion we need to build a team that can handle a 0-0 draw with anyone and go up from there. That is Chelsea's identity.

Guirassy has a RC of less than 20m, Sesko didn't start for most of the season, so most of those appearances have come off the bench until last month or so and Watkins is 28, not 24 years old. Also, every manager has a system, except ours, so same issue with every striker.

For me as a swede the dream would be to sign either Isak or Gyökeres. Both are really good and i’m leaning towards Gyökeres because i hope Ruben Amorim will become our new coach

If I were to choose next season's striker I would look solely to proven and professional strikers who have developed great positional awareness and are clinical in front of goal. I think the club should stay away from players of 25 years old or younger from any league outside of the Premier League and Bundesliga. Harry Kane and Ollie Watkins are ideal fits for me. Let's now bank on a great end of the season, KTBFFH! 💙

Isak is awesome, but Newcastle surely won’t sell. They’ll sell others, but not him. Toney for me, makes sense. He’s proven, he’s a great target man, he’s fast, strong, intelligent. Great at bringing others into play. Great in the box. I don’t see many question marks. I’m not saying he’ll bag 25 goals, but I think he would fit well in our team.

Would agree on most apart from Isak. I genuinely think he is a world-class striker already. He links up very well and generally fits right into Jackson's position as he also drifts towards left. For me, he is a superior option over Osimhen as Newcastle, in case they have to sell him, would be fine with 100 mil for him - 30 less than Osimhen, who is not proven in PL.

I definitely agree with you Goarge on Nunez he'll explode for he's still raw if there's any chance of signing him let's sign him for Chelsea then let's go for it, for me he's potential is higher than Harland especially in the current project

I do look at arsenal and their eddie nkhetiah, he is such a talent but keeps sitting on the bench there. He’ll surely look for a move in the summer and i think it could be cheap ish to get him (I would prefer Watkins or Toney tho)

You should research zirkzee for me he is the ideal striker for us and what we are trying to build

Watkins, Isak and Ivan Toney would be my preferred choice in that order (striker we get should be PL proven to reduce adaption time) Watkins for me the best player in the league at the moment, age does not matter as well since Jackson will eventually come good (10 goals in 1st season is not bad). Only issue here is convincing Villa to part ways with Watkins. Isak has adapted to the PL quite well (struggled in the begining) his age and price tag fits our squad. Toney would lead the line well at chelsea and his link up play is fantastic. Sort of like a playmaker and striker wrapped in one. Not as exciting as the forst two options but will get the job done. We should definitely try to sell Lukaku to get these players but I'm also not opposed to using Lukaku in the team, part of me still believes Lukaku can be a good striker for us.

I feel Gyokeres would be perfect for us. He’s got all the good qualities of a striker and it’d definitely be better to have a lethal finisher like him in the team.

Gyökeres or Boniface are the solution... Kane would be nice tho.. but forget about that.

Isak or gyokeres would be the way to go for me! Isak purely for his finishing and composure in front of goal. Gyokeres again for his finishing in front of goal and also played in the championship/coventry who are a good side from what we’ve seen over the weekend. I’d be happy with either of these two, anyone else would be a let down.

Solanke would be my shout, premier league proven and would most likely be on the cheaper end compared to most strikers in world football right now. I feel the gamble of going for strikers who play in leagues abroad isn't worth the risk as it hasn't really worked out since Diego Costa.

What’s this narrative about Vlahovic being injury prone? Assuming he plays in 2 of Juventus’ final 5 Serie A games, he’ll have played in 30+ Serie A games in 4 of his 5 seasons since becoming a full-time senior player, and in the one season that he didn’t he still played 27 games which isn’t awful for your most injury-riddled season. I think he should be our top target if we can’t get Osimhen… he’s only 24 and unlike so many of these other guys mentioned, he has a proven track record instead of just potential. I think he would cook with us and if that €65M price tag is accurate I think it’s a steal. Gyokeres scares me because he’s playing only his first season in a top flight league at the age of 25 (compared to Vlahovic, who at one year younger is playing his 5th)… and yes he’s tearing it up in Portugal but as you said George, the Premier League is a big step up in competition and I’m not confident it’ll translate

Get in Gyokeres or Watkins if we can, or just not buy anyone else. The last thing we need is a gamble on another injury prone player.

Man I'd love to see David at Chelsea, mostly because I'm Canadian (though obviously there's another Canadian I'd prefer to see here) but I know there's a few better options. He has been great over the past few years in France though.

Still don't think they need a ST. Chelsea's biggest issues are giving up on guys and not giving them a chance. Tomori, Abraham, Guehi, De Bruyne, Salah. Let Jackson develop! Sign a cheap experienced guy behind him maybe. He has one bad game and everyone hates him but then he scores a beautiful goal and assist against Everton and everyone loves him.

For me Icardi is a proven finisher and yes he failed at Inter Milan but hes cheap and will for sure score alot of goals. Goncalo ramos for PSG could be another option. They dont use him that much and imo hes a great striker depends on the fee.
