This Specs guy is a bit of a joke. "Foden should be in B, what's his position?" when Saka has played about five different positions for Arsenal. Some people just aren't suited for this kind of thing because they can't put their personal biases aside- he's one of them.

I think what he was meant to say is that his position is unclear at city because city play positionless football whereas Saka has played in different fixed positions but I do agree with you about specs being a joke

Foden is better especially whens his goal involvement has been much better than Saka's. Foden has been scoring match winning goals in the premier league and the champions league

There are so many talents like him who Chelsea identified and bought and took the credit for themselves when they become successful lol. In fact he wasn't even good until he joined gladbach.

Im a Liverpool fan but Phill Foden should definitely be an A of course Saka has the potential to reach that level but as of right now Phill Foden is above Saka.

A Liverpool fan myself of 30+ years. Foden is several tiers above Saka. Definitely A tier. For me, Jacob Ramsey should also be higher. C tier rather than D.

@@davooodle mount a very talented player but foden's potential is incredible. foden and mount unequivocally two of England massive amount of young talents developing such as Bellingham and Rice. But must say Foden is extremely impressive. Foden and Rice are for me unbelievable talents who will become world class. for me RIce is already world class. Anyone not looking to sign him is bonkers. I hope LFC sign him. Perfect successor to Hendo. He is an all round midfielder and that is extremely rare these days.

@@mattvanemden7573 I’m a Liverpool fan too and for me Saka objectively is better than Foden. It is easy to look world class when you play with a team full of world class players to carry you. Saka has been carrying Arsenal for 3 seasons and winning trophies in a bad team. I don’t think Foden would shine in a bad team like Saka. We saw in the Euros Foden and Mount flopped and Saka excelled so that is all the evidence you need. The problem is the cognitive bias in the non-diverse media certain players get hyped more by the media because they relate more to them than actual ability. Foden is a top but Saka has far more attributes and potential. There is a reason Bayern and Barcelona and Liverpool expressed interest in Saka.

Indeed, pretty much already pushing world class, best RB in the league. Looks fully developed already, proper solid defender, effective going forward, England's most well balanced full back. Quality player.

if rice and foden are in the A category, I personally believe mount deserve to be in A as well. he's been integral for Chelsea the past 2 seasons, playing really well for the team week in week out, hardly have injuries, one of the first name in England squad and a balon d'or nominee. goal involments may not be spectacular but his underlying numbers are decent. chelsea finally have a true star academy graduate since john terry and I believe he has a really high ceiling (still 22 btw). he is chelsea future captain and will be an important member to the team years later.

TAA superb att but cant defend.. up to the manager tactical.. im prefer james all the time Mount is every manager dream.. good ability and the most important is his work rate is so unreal.. foden work on pep tactical. @@michaeljoo4699 Then if we add in last season ... TAA : Mins:3029, Goals:2, Assists:8 RJ : Mins:2367, Goals:1, Assists:3 That said, I'd rather have Reece James than Mount. For me, Mount is waaaay overated. Feel free you look up his goals and assist stats and you'll see how poor he is as an attacking midfielder. 7 goals and 6 assists, followed by 6 goals and 7 assists is dire. Chelsea have so many better players than Mount.

You don’t know anything about football or Arsenal. Saka has been overplayed which is why he’s slowed down a bit. He’s by far the better player, he’s more versatile, can beat players better, got better crossing, can carry the ball from deep. There’s a reason why he got in the England squad in-front of Sancho. Chelsea Football Club have the best academy. You can't even deny it. They found a formula that simply works and it is evident so far this season. Reece James is a great example and Mason Mount even from his performances last season as given him a nod at Ballon'Dor. Then Callum Hudson-Odoi is becoming the assist king. Then look at Conor Gallagher on loan at Crystal Palace. Billy Gilmour is another great player. Even some ex Chelsea Football Club Academy players have gone to other Premier league clubs and are regular starters.

It takes a really special player to get close to them and that's not England's 3rd choice right back.

bro foden played a crucial role in bringing city to the finals. scoring a world class goal against dortmund in quarters to insane playmaking in semis against psg. cmon man. mounts pass was due to an error by city defence. they left so much gap in between and mount just passed it there. foden in his 3 years at city has won around 10 12 trophies. foden is miles above mount

The kid scored 17 goals in just first season and he was 17 YEARS OF AGE and he did it in the Prem the toughest league . Because he plays under a manager hanging onto a job and doesn't know how to develop him. Most of the players mentioned here play/played under managers who concentrate on youth development. (Like Tuchel,Arteta,Poch etc).

This is an another myth which has been supposedly achieved by ole when he hasn't done that. Do you even watch the games and inconsistencies in greenwood's performances?. He has not improved at all from he started out. His overall game is still average despite his obvious talent. The academy has being so directionless under ole,it has never been that useless despite the production of multiple top class talents. In fact he only uses greenwood because it's too hard ignore a guy who play your way."Get the ball,Shoot the ball".😂

Phil foden isnt in the top 10 pl players mate calm down. Harry Kane, Mo Salah, TAA, KDB, Bruno, Ronaldo, VVD, Ruben Dias, Kante, Cancelo, Sadio Mane, Son, Vardy, Lukaku to name a few players better than him. He'd probably scrape top 15/20/30 if he keeps his performances consistently good like he has been but at the minute too many of the above players have shown they can do it better and/or for longer. But tbf Saka aint even in my top 75 Pl players. atm i reckon Foden is top 50

Saka is really good left back and very solid defensively, so I would say he's more versatile than Foden, but that said, I'll still put him at B. Foden is absolutely A, but for me he's at the moment bottom of A, TAA and Harry Kane are just too insane. I feel they need separate S-tier just for them.

Putting Dunk in C is criminal for me. The man took Brighton from an average Championship team up to the top half of the Prem. He's their captain and he's the joint top-scoring current CB in the Prem (joint with VVD). Also he plays for a team that is known for being defensively solid and he's at the heart of that defence.
