I'm going to be completely honest, Vivy and To Your Eternity are so fucking close in my books that they're basically on par with one another.

I can’t really disagree but the first episode of to you eternity just sold the deal Vivy is more action based with better visuals and animated scenes her running out of a building breaking down was the awesome While to your eternity just has a better story over all of you ask me the animation is not the far off form vivy but the visuals different vivy got it on a other level Sooo I guess it’s par I still like to your eternity more tho

I can agree and now I have to rewatch Vivy to really make sure... but To Your Eternity takes the cake with me in it being emotional-- and I struggle with emotions and this has become my therapy. But yes, it's a very close call.

I was holding out for your opinion on Vivy with baited breathe, when you gave it it's own tier I was overjoyed. Then you baited me with 'better than Vivy' and I almost went on a rampage there and there. I held out for those few extra painful minutes. 'To your eternity'. You said. 'Fuck' I said. Its crazy to see other people also stuck with trying to catch up with MHA, It seems like alot of us started with season 1 and then just lost interest since season 3. One day I'll give it a proper go I guess

Not gonna lie, rn my hero story is kinda boring rn. I watched every ep until now and season 4 is so weird, you get this cool endeavour fight but mid season you get a story about an Internet troll having a tiny girl simp over him fight deku and with power of love they manage to fight back? Yeah I dunno what the fuck was that season lmao.

@@HarshitSingh-yu7nj Definitely, my cousin and I always have this restricted equivalent exchange protocol where one of us will recommend an anime or a manga to each other, and we should watch it, no backing off. He said he don't want to watch Vivy because it's just some AI type of anime that will hurt his brain. Just wait, until our next exchange I will force him to watch it no matter what

Odd Taxi is so underrated like sht it's probably the best anime original this season (storywise, sorry Vivy but I prefer Odd Taxi) The story is well written and paced. The characters and their relationship with other characters are interesting and some of them have important roles that adds to whole worldbuilding. The dialogue is humorous and engaging to read through, especially the character's conversations. Overall a fvckin great anime

100% agreed. This video is how I found out about Oddtaxi, and I'm so glad I caught it early on, because it was such a wild ride. It'll probably remain a sleeper hit, but that's fine by me.

Thank God, there are other people who thought odd taxi is better than vivy (storywise). To me, I think all of the characters and the ending in odd taxi is way better than vivy, and I didn't relate to the characters that much in vivy, but I did in odd taxi. Also, I was underwhelmed in the ending of vivy, and annoyed at mastumoto lol. So far my AOTY is odd taxi (I haven't watched fumetsu no anata e yet oof)

Haven't seen much of the anime this season, but Vivy has honestly been such a banger. Consistently amazing every 2 episodes, and I'm only halfway through! If you haven't seen Vivy yet then I HIGHLY recommend.

I'm so happy I discovered you. Just finished episode 12 of To Your Eternity and I thought I was crazy for loving it so much because people would call it misery porn.. but it's just so damn good. 10/10 tier list. I love that Vivy has a Vivy tier and To Your Eternity is up there. The main ones I'm looking forward to each week are Vivy, TYE, Odd Taxi, 86, and Tokyo Revengers - all of which belong in their rightful places. Megalobox Nomad, if/when you watch it, is also an easy S up there with the lot.

@@zurielarts4650 it's probably not your cup of tea, but personally it is above average unlike other anime "clichés" this season, i find it unique because of how every single thing just slowly creates a bigger picture and that they're not some background character that's forgotten and that everything just connects into place and that each character have such roles to play in the story and quite well written, though i may not enlighten you, as someone who has seen 400+ animes, this is such a unique one, but prolly not your cup of tea

Really good breakdown, I'd definitely agree with the top group. The one that you missed in my eyes that was really fantastic as well was "Those Snow White Notes." I looked forwards to it each week on a similar level to Tokyo Revengers, Vivy, and Eternity just almost on sheer pleasure with its portrayal of music. Not even a musician, but the way they capture the music is incredible.

How is it confusing? Think Nazi's but instead of outright killing Jewish people or people with anything other than blond hair and blue eyes ( the "86"), they make them fight against the enemy and die that way. Thought provoking and brings the feels. Definitely one of the best of the season

an anime tier list that is not statistically based cannot be objective because it is based on what the tier list makers thoughts on the anime are. For example, perhaps they dont like this anime but you think that anime is one of the best; so, it cannot be objective.

Bruh I actually am going to subscribe. I hope you do these type of things, because sometimes it’s kinda hard to choose out of all the anime’s which ones to watch… Also yes To your eternity, IS JUST THAT GOOD! I was immediately intrigued by the name of the show, but couldn’t be more hooked each episode. Absolutely best anime this season and it’s Sad and very adventurous/mysterious vibe with the main character and the world surrounding him. I think there are in Canada, but who knows that’s the great thing about the anime. It’s really hard describe the feeling you get while watching this anime, but I am always excited to watch the newest episode.

There's one thing you can complain and it's that this video was released too soon, apart from one anime, all of the others aren't finished yet. Which can change the tier list; As a manga reader of Tokyo Revengers I see it being better than Vivy.

Thats a fair point, being that it was released too early, but seeing as it's been released now, I think it's fine, considering that this is an "as of right now, this is where we're at" tier list, as its not meant to encapsule the entirety of this season

A big KZfaqr who has actually watched Shadows House 😭😭 I love this anime so far, I've already rewatched it twice and it hasn't even finished yet. The last few episodes have been slightly rushed, but hopefully it will stick the landing because this really is such a great show with characters I was able to connect to from their introduction (usually characters have to grow on me). I hate how few people talk about it, it really is under hyped and slept on imo.

Your description of Full Dive is spot on. I thought it was horrible... but I couldn't stop watching. They understand plot hooks, I guess. - Also, Vivy was amazing. Still haven't seen to your eternity, but it is on my list... If it really really is better than Vivy... well... then this was one hell of a season.

86: Eighty Six has been a masterpiece to me since the first episode, I first started reading a year or so ago, definitely favorite light novel and favorite anime of all time! A-1 Pictures has done justice to the light novel so far, love Shin and Lena❤️🤍, volume 7 was just perfection, I can’t wait for volume 8 to come on the 20th of July and around fall season for the 2nd cour.

Woah, I love To Your Eternity and I too enjoyed it more than any other anime airing this season. The show made me invested in the characters so easily and the world building is AMAZING. The opening song is really relaxing to hear and the soundtrack are good too. We also got to see the sneek peek of where this series could go with the introduction of a possible antagonist. All the characters so far were really likable and I can't wait to see where this goes. I can't wait to hear your full thoughts in your future To Your Eternity video. Also , love your content man ! Thanks for the comment! My To Your Eternity video was made right after Episode 5 aired, so I didn't get to talk about the possible antagonist, but I thought that was really cool & surprising. I totally didn't expect Fushi to encounter an actual threat. Really interesting anime, I hope the rest of the season maintains the quality it's established thus far

@@merrlol9582 I will reserve my judgements after I've watched the anime or read ahead a few arcs in the manga, so far I'm really interested where the plot is going. It's one of those anime that you want to see where the story goes and what will happen in the end. For me the story doesn't have to be perfect , like it's okay to have some 'weak' arcs (unless they are so bad that you start feeling ' Wait... Is this really TYI? ' or the writing is really questionable ). If I can still appreciate something in those arcs they it's fine by me. Still I would like that the story keeps the same quality as the current episodes of S1, tho I will control my expectations. Of course, there's always a chance that an ongoing series like TYI will get axed in the ending.
