I've been working on imitating HEB's Cowboy Burger (not shown). I've come dang close. The recipe is as follows: Ingredients: 1 pound ground meat (1/3 lb burgers) 6 regular-cut bacon strips (cooked pretty crisp and chopped pretty small) Parsley (small chop; 2 Tbsp) BBQ sauce (one that has hickory smoke; 2-3 Tbsp) Celery flakes (2 tsp) Smoked paprika (2 tsp) Cayenne powder (2 tsp or to taste) Base Mix (2 Tbsp)(Base mix is: 4 parts onion powder. 4 parts garlic powder, 1 part black pepper and 1 part Kosher salt) Add all ingredients to meat and mix well. If you really want a tasty burger, top with Pepper-Jack cheese and use this sauce on the buns (4 Tbsp mayo; 3 Tbsp BBQ sauce; 2 tsp Dijon mustard, 1/2 tsp smoked paprika, 1/2 tsp onion powder, 1/2 tsp sugar, 1/4 tsp salt and cayenne to taste (I use 1 tsp). Enjoy

Bacon makes it better! 😀😀 I have my own super lean grass fed beef , and have to add 20% bacon for the fat content. Just made some 4 oz. smash burgers tonight! - They were awesome! - Cheers! - More content please!
