My dance line: Main dancers-Momo and Mina Lead dancers-Jihyo and Sana

I’ve always said that Mina would make a perfect SM style dancer. Her crisp and clean dance moves have always screamed SM for me.

It’s a crime that Sahyo isn’t in the dance line

When people say that Jihyo overdances often, I laugh. Not because they're wrong, but because me and Jihyo have the same habit. She is REALLY an energy-based dancer and I commend her for that. You must have great stamina to dance the whole song in 100% or even bigger. I look up to her so much and her passion in performing. Even idols who are good dancers can't keep up sometimes because they tend to lose energy or they don't have much stamina.

not putting sana in the official dance line is a sin and jyp is freakin' having it wtf.

i hate when people say mina doesn’t deserve to be a main dancer. she is absolutely amazing and 100% deserves it

I freaking love God Jihyo's energy , Mina's grace , Sana's cuteness , Momo's power , Nayeon's expressions , Dahyun's smoothness , Jeongyeon's prettines , Chaeyoung's swag and Tzuyu's innocence when they are dancing

also, the fact that tzuyu has to work harder in order to make herself look shorter in their performances makes it more difficult for her to execute moves perfectly, It’s like she has to sacrifice a good portion of her skills to keep the group synchronisation

The thing that i realize. Jihyo and rose has the same point(7.7 at "great tier"). And they are main vocal in their group. Okay main vocal is not only great at singing but dancing as well

I always watch Mina's fancams when I want to learn the choreography, she just executes it the cleanest

umm can we just appreciate the cleanliness on jeongyeons so called "overdancing", because as a dancer myself i am really impressed on how she controlled it without looking like a try hard

fun fact: sana was in the dance line back in 2015-2017 then the positions changed and they added nayeon and tzuyu for some reason. jihyo and sana will always be lead dancers in my eyes 😂🥰

Mina is indeed a "black swan" because of her beautiful grace

With Tzuyu, I feel like her underdancing and bad angles are mainly because of her long limbs and general height - JYP is extremely strict on their synchronisation (keeping in mind that Twice are pretty short-average height) and it's like she'd rather sacrifice her own dancing for the sake of not ruining the whole groups formation and image as they dance (which is why she's always bending her knees and has her arms fully stretched in one move only to have them restricted in the next) When they cover Me Gustas Tu she was one of the best in that performance imo because Gfriend's choreos are tailored to taller dancers and have lots of moves where she can stretch her legs and have high energy without the whole group looking off. I'd love to see her do a solo dance with a choreo for a tall dancer so people can truly see her potential.

As a once, I never really appreciated Dahyun's dancing much. After watching her fancams I realized she has surprisingly good control and fluidity in her dancing and she tends to get overshadowed by other members' powerful dancing considering twice are great dancers.

I gotta say this cause- SANA IS SO UNDERRATED WHEN IN IT COMES TO DANCING. LIKE HOW ARE YOU GUYS SLEEPING ON HER DANCE?? I've watched too many dance evaluations/ analyzations and such and they always rank Sana a 6 or lower. :(

J-line being the holy dance trinity. Momo is as powerful as a truck. Mina is as smooth as a peanut butter. Sana is as sharp as a surgical blade. Well weird but thats how i see their dance 😂😂

I think the reason why tzuyu is stiff is because she dances with her knees bent which is really hard, as a dancer I’m telling you it’s not an easy job it’s really tiring, tzuyu has to stop bending cause it’s not good for the knees Edit: I know tzuyu is tall that’s why she bends her knees (so she could match up with her members) what other reason is there

Mina is so underrated as a main dancer, like people sometimes don't even realize she is the main dancer

Tbh Jihyo is just so excited to be on stage after ten years. Even if it’s five years in or none. She just is happy that after ten years of training she got to be on stage. It is especially relevant on their debut stages for like Ooh Aah

imagine if momo and tzuyu weren’t added to the group, mina would be both THE main dancer and THE visual

I think Mina's biggest weakness is just her facials, not even energy tbh. She's such a good dancer, she just looks unhappy and like she doesn't want to be there. Probably why I like jihyo fancams the best 😅😅 worse technically, but her expressions make her way more fun to watch for me personally

For me Jihyo is third and Sana is fourth, idk but I really like Jihyo's technique

Japanese line is such a dance Queens(Momo, Sana, Mina) JYP senior line is such a Vocal Queens(Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Jihyo) Maknae line is such a Visual Queens(Dahyun, Chaeyoung, Tzuyu) #Maknae line in my opinion Visual and Rap Queens. This is their same charming point. But they are also very talented

I'm not a die hard fan of TWICE but whenever I watch their videos Mina always caught my attention and I even thought she's the Visual of Twice. I sometimes wanna be like her or most of the time, she's perfect, good in dancing and having those amazing beauty.

Actually jeongyeon is not that bad, but her talent only shows when she is comfortable, I guess she is shy

Mina is an amazing dancer but imo she isn’t an amazing idol dancer. She doesn’t have energy, facials and stage presence that make sana and jihyo so fun to watch.

Fun fact: Sana was originally part of the dance line until JYP took it away and gave it to Nayeon :/

Jihyo made me think she was way better. Her stage charisma does that. I never thought Sana and Mina were this good, it´s nice to realize and i´ll watch more of them. Yass, Momo as always, she sings through her body. Even if she´s below Lisa i definetely like watching Momo way more. I just feel she´s so conected and bold. She´s such a joy to watch.

People really think: Energy to the point you mess up and are messy with your movements + Overwhelming charisma ------------------------------------- Great dancer And that's why they think Mina isn't a good dancer. No. Those aren't the only things that mean you a great dancer.

I find it kindda unfair to jeongyeon. For me she's a good dancer. Her dance is really not consistent and I admit it but if she put some effort in dancing (she can't put all her effort because I feel like she's more focused in singing than dancing) she can be better than nayeon. I saw that in their dance practice in LOA - TT and I saw it again in YOY (please watch her fancam).

When people say Mina doesn't deserve to be a main dancer, my blood starts to boil. Like do you even know anything about dancing? And also "Why aren't Sana and Jihyo in the dance line?" still remains one of the hardest questions science can't answer.

So if i understood correctly, if mina had a little more power and energy in her overall dance she could easily be as good as momo ? I always see people saying that there is a big gap between mina and Momo and that mina shouldn't be considered a main dancer as momo but for me i've always liked her and her dance i nearly only watch her even if i don't have any bias

Tzuyu is improving so much. I really think if she gets a dance tutor alone for a week she'll show great improvements. She's also one of the lead dancers. She gets my attention in that first verse after her part choreo. Her body locks are more prominent.

I know nothing about dance, I just enjoy watching nice choreos etc. and honestly I've watched some ranking videos before but I never really got why people were ranked a certain way, but you really explained everything and that made me see things I'd never noticed before and understand the ranking a lot better! There are things you said that I honestly couldn't see in the clips, because I'm not sure what it really means, but it wasn't really an issue, it's just things that dancers notice and that people like me don't, but your comments were still really helpful! And there were definitely notes that made me go "oh yeah that's right, I never noticed that before" and that was really cool!
