There's totally worse sequels to out there, but for me at least, it was just disappointing. Like it's a perfectly good movie, I enjoyed myself and had a good time. I just wanted more time to pass, I wanted to see the kids grow and evolve and see how super heroing evolved and changed with the times, so when I watched it and saw it pick up 5 seconds after the ending of the first movie I was just bummed out. I like the first better, but the second is really good too! I especially really love Jack-Jack hanging out with Edna, and Bob becoming a stay at home dad, and the moments with Helen and all the new supers was nice too, but I dunno just doesn't stick the same for me, but that's just my feelings. I think I'd like a third movie in this universe that took elements of both movies, I think that'd be awesome!! Like if Jack-Jack became a super hero costume designer, or how Violet and Dash grow up and what they chose to do with their life, oo or or to see Frozone's wife even!! Someone had an idea where his wife has fire powers which I adore, and I wonder if he ever had kids too and what that could be like! I was one of those kids who was ashamed of their childish interests. I've been trying to embrace my childish intrests more recently by buying cute things I like and stuffed animals and watching shows I grew up with. I love that this generation of new adults is so accepting of these things because my parents sure aren't.

I've watched The Incredibles many times as a kid, but didn't understand it until I was a teenager. Even now as an "adult" (19), it doesn't really stick out to me, yet I've heard some people call it Pixar's best movie. A part of me thinks that I'm not mature enough to like it since my mind thinks of it as "superheros living like normal people because they are normal people" and the only parts that I loved watching were the fight scenes. This doesn't mean I don't appreciate it or those kinds of tropes, (for instance, I love Invincible), but it just never caught my interest.
