@April not sure how you got we were judging out of anything we said lol we absolutely don't judge anyone that takes any kind of meds or does anything to try to help better themselves or their mental health. You must have misheard or taken something out of context because this topic actually hits very close to home as Brit has battled mental health issues in the past, as she stated. We are all for constructive criticism, or even someone correcting us if we happen to misspeak, but one thing we do not do is JUDGE people based off of anything. We base this channel off of Positivity and spreading love through music, art and community, Maybe you should check out a few more of our videos and listen to what we are saying and you will see that. @TFOLLT First we wanted to say Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment on our video, It really does mean a lot to us. And Yes you are completely right about it being the biggest cartel! And the fact that it comes from other areas of our "Healthcare" system (at least in the U.S.) not just the Psychiatric sector, Brit and I have both been to our "Primary Care Physician" for PHYSICAL ailments and left with prescriptions for antidepressants... SMH Now don't get me wrong, We have nothing against Antidepressants at all, if there is a medication that can improve someone's quality of life, Go For It. My point is what kind of Antidepressant can fix Lower back pain, or in Brits case Neck Pain and Migraines? If we are wrong we are wrong, but we kinda feel like Some Doctors (More often than not) just want to push whatever medication their current pharmaceutical rep has attached the best incentives to... Thankfully We were able to find an alternative way of finding relief in both of those particular instances instead of blindly trusting someone because they have a degree and a white coat. To sum up my rambling, We can both relate to your story above in many ways. Before we met each other, we both had to help ourselves rise up from numerous stumbles and setbacks from faults of our own decision making as well as maliciousness from others we thought we trusted. We did this without outside help, but with plenty of outside judgement and criticism. Thankfully we have found each other and now have that solid foundation we both searched for and craved to build from. We are so happy to hear you have been able to climb out from under the darkness you were suffocating from, and you should be very proud to say that you did it on your own. Just know that there are others out there that can be trusted and can be helpful to you and your journey. YES we all should be VERY selective on who we let into our lives and spend our energy on, and YES there are TONS of people, predators, narcissist's, dark energy dwellers, that we have to be Vigilant to identify and keep away from, but one day I hope you can Find that Child in you again and nurture it. Try to Only trust when you can trust without repercussions to your own energy, even if you are done wrong again, so you can find those few that are out there that you can share those awesome parts of you and your life with. Once you can trust yourself to do your best to learn from all the negatives you will most certainly encounter at one point or another in your journey, Hopefully then You can rebuild and rewarm that cold broken part of you, that will always be a part of you. Anyway, Just wanted to respond to your comment as we can relate, sorry we took so long. LOL No we actually must have missed the "Regulations for Commentary/Reaction channels" chapter of the KZfaq Terms of service handbook they give out after orientation... If you don't mind we would love to check out some of your videos so we can get some tips for how to run our own channel correctly...
