Raph...you didn't need to heat that water up in the oven. You could have put the pan in and then added the hot water when ready to bake. The cracks are caused from over baking or temperature change (opening oven door). I'm a baker and I've had so many fails and I have to give you a standing ovation on this being your first cheesecake!! It looks incredible!!

@@CAMarg-zs1xq Cheesecakes can be temperamental. LoL If you over mix they can crack and have bubbles...if you over bake...if the temperature fluctuates.

I think the preheating in oven was to adjust the moisture level in the oven. It's adding humidity.

Top tip for avoiding cracking on cheesecakes. When it's cooked, leave the cheesecake in the oven with the door ajar until it is completely cooled. It cracks when it cools too quickly. Leaving it in the warm oven will allow it to cool more slowly and help stop it cracking.

As an ex Cinnabon baker the trick to bigger buns is to only put 6 in a pan about an inch apart and double the icing!

When adding corn starch, you should make what's called a "slurry". Cold water and corn starch whisked together, and then whisk that into your teriyaki sauce 😊

I've been watching you for years and I love these videos. Your cooking skills have seriously improved and I would love to try some of the stuff that you make now. All your videos are amazing. No bs or 10 minute intros, just pure good content. The only thing that could make these videos better would be an actual side by side from the restaurant but it's great without too. Keep up the good work!

I had honey walnut shrimp from Panda Express tonight! Love your videos Raphael 👏🏼👏🏼❣️ Edit: your shrimp looked much better than what I had tonight lol Also, the metal attachment made your hands black because you put it in the dishwasher… it’s oxidation! You can remove it with vinegar and a steel wool pad. Always hand wash aluminum items 😍

Not to sound like a boomer but I genuinely think it’s bc the videos are less in depth there/have a different audience with different expectations. TikTok’s algorithm favors shorter, more attention-grabbing content with matching titles. Hard to condense the vibes of these videos into like 60 seconds without losing some of the content or going with clickbait, lol. Also people really wanna be witty, but it comes off as cruel. Not that KZfaq comments are much better with all the bots ;o;

I'm late discovering your channel, but every dish in this episode I love. Thank you, Raphael and all the ex-employees who leaked the recipes. I have made walnut shrimp, but it wasn't like Panda Express version. I have never had the Cheesecake Factory Mac-N-Cheese but will try that now that I know about it. I haven't had Cinnabon in years, but I believe something changed in the cream cheese formula for the icing that used to melt on top of the freshly baked buns; years ago, when the company still made the rolls fresh in the store.

The baked Mac and cheese is very similar to how I make mine and yes, those extra steps are so worth the flavor at the end. Another fantastic video. Tip: when u r using the oven to proof the dough, keep oven off but turn on oven light. It will get ur oven to the perfect temp for the dough to proof properly.

Just for future reference, flour goes into hot liquid. You always put flour in hot to avoid lumps. Cornstarch you mix some cornstarch into a cold liquid. Water can be used. It will lump in hot liquid. It won’t lump in cold. The total opposite as flour. You put so much work into these videos. What a pleasure!

Of course the cheesecake has excessive sugar, its a USA recipe, lol! Anything more than one cup is excessive (I've seen recipes calling for as much as 2 1/2 cups, but SERIOUSLY?!).

fr i work there and never understand why people go crazy for the original, yeah it’s good cheesecake but it’s very basic. the other cheesecakes are more worth getting imo bc they have so many crazy flavors. but imo, you’ll be disappointed if you hype up the cheesecake factory original cheesecake so much and then you try it and realize it’s just BASIC ASS CHEESECAKE!! lmaoo
