The lyrics are supposed to depict the childish attitude of politicians who want to compare the size of their tanks and weapons with other countries. At least that's one take on it.

I disagree I think at this point they were so cynical and fed up with each other they put next to no effort in and the record companies were pushing them like crazy and deren was trying to be the lead singer and it was a huge mess they hated each other at this time.

This would have been a good reaction for NüMetal Monday's. Still glad you reacted to this song. I love Daron-centric SoaD!!! Of course, Serj is phenomenal, but Daron really is the heart and soul of the band🤘🏼🤌🏼 it is funny you two talked up Serj so much the whole beginning of the video and he is just backup in this song though😅

It’s not actually stupid, most of their songs have strong political meaning. One take on this song is how (borrowed comment from someone else) “the lyrics are supposed to depict the childish attitude of politicians who want to compare the size of their tanks and weapons with other countries”.

I think this was in 2015... Serj and Daron look like the last people that want to be on that stage and seem to be going through the motions for a paycheck (Bassist Shavo and drummer John are the only ones who look like they r giving an honest effort...) We know now why System of a Down stopped putting out records since 2005... it wouldn't be a 100% effort.
