Very helpful. Yes! It’s so hard to tell on websites with the tiny square color box. Is it so hard at prices we are paying (a less returns for them) to put a full wig picture of each color!?!

Thank you for the kind words! This review gig is something else. I try to make a video each weekend, and I started mid-July 2023. My philosophy is that the more reviews and the more reviewers there are, the better chance that those on an alternative hair journey will find the resources they need. I never imagined the catty, cut-throat attitude surrounding KZfaq video creation. It’s plastic hair, people! 😂. We all going up in flames if we stand too close to the campfire! And I thought my career was challenging! Lol! Thanks for all of your support. ❤️

This was a wonderful review. I do have one Simmer Elite in the color RL 12/16 and I LOOOOOVE her! Im thinking about getting another one in a different color. The style is just beautiful and looks very natural. At the beginning I wasn’t too sure about heat friendly fibers either, but now I won’t buy anything but that. Im not too good at using curlers, but after many burns 😩 Im getting better & better and have managed to make my HF wigs & toppers look great after I wash them or do regular maintenance. Ty for posting!

Thanks so much for watching and for the comment! It’s such a trade off. I absolutely love the look, feel, and color selection available in heat friendly fibers. And so many of my absolute favorite styles are made of it. I just get so worried that I’m going to botch them with maintenance and my skill level (or lack thereof- ha!) I suppose I will get better with practice and should just bite the bullet, especially since these things are not cheap. Thanks for the encouragement. I will let you know how I do on my next “refresh attempt.” 😊❤️

Thank you, Charmaine. I think you are right that comments go into the whole algorithm thing on KZfaq for potential growth, and you are so kind to offer your support. My whole goal on doing these reviews has been to help people experiencing hair loss and to promote the business of a hard working woman entrepreneur at TL Wigs. If the channel grows, super. It’s a good feeling to see that people enjoy and show support for what’s being produced. I have no clue why some content creators get so crazy about this endeavor. I’m not monetized, and I don’t get paid to do this through any other venues. This is a hobby. I view real personal success through the lens of my family, my education, my career, and my character. You are lovely and do a great review. I just wonder why your wigs always look so high? This is an elite so no permatease. Not sure how you got so much height. That is something many avoid. xo

Good question! I’m now staring at the shape of my noggin and wondering if my cranium is shaped like a Neanderthal. 😂. Just teasing! 😂😂 I do have a very small forehead and a low natural hairline (what is left of it 😉), and I am wondering if the positioning of my wigs affects their profile. You’re absolutely right in that Simmer Elite has no permatease. I did not add any styling products or do anything to her other than give a vigorous shake and loosen the fibers a bit, but she does appear to have some volume at the crown. I honestly don’t know, and I hadn’t thought of it before, but I see where you’re coming from. 😊.

Hello! I am sorry to say at this point in my collection, I don’t have any regular Simmer wigs (all of mine are the Elite version) and unfortunately I don’t have any dark brown shades either. A lot of help I am. Geez! 🤦‍♀️. Marlene (The Crazy Wig Lady) has a good review where she compares the regular (wefted version) of Simmer with the Elite (handtied version), albeit in a much lighter color, Shaded Cappuccino. I have included the link below for her video. The cap features are going to be what differs between the two versions; the fibers will be identical in color and properties (both heat defiant Tru2Life). Would you say the shaded blondes both have the same root color? Is one lighter than the other with the root color? It's so hard to buy these wigs online and really tell what you're getting! Any tips regarding that? I suppose i could go in store and try on if they even have this style... thanks!

Hello! Personally, I find the root on Shaded Iced Latte Macchiato to be slightly lighter (less of a stark contrast) than Shaded Biscuit, particularly in outdoor light. I hope this helps! ❤️
