MJ at 42 years old. I didn’t get to see him live until he was 40 playing at the MCI Center. I’m glad he always made an effort to play all 82 games, even at that age. Must have been really special for Lebron to share the court with the player he grew up idolizing.

This footage is from that Jordan camp Bron is talking about, when he was a rookie, before the season started. Now we need the one he mentioned at the beginning, when he was 16. It's where Artest gave Bron the L-bow, the 16 y/o kid just stood up like he wasn't shaken from that. Next game Ron goes for the jackpot, proceeds to hit MJ with the L-bow, broke his rib, Mike goes out, comes back to hit the game winner all banged up. That being said, Artest confirmed what Maverick said about Lebron showing to be able to hold his own with some moves to the basket and later some jumpshots when the pro's got confident in his ability. There was an instance where Lebron went for an alley oop and slammed it on a pro player and after that Mike said: the kid can play or something, which further solidified nation wide demand for the footage of the lanky kid from Ohio who jumps out of the building, nobody outside of Ohio knew him as Lebron back then. That's all I gathered through various media on this topic, but we lack the film, Nike holds it locked up on a disc.

This is the game MJ whipped OJ Mayo 1 on 1. Jordan was nearing 43 at this point. Imagine if he never stopped playing after 98. He would've still been in game shape throughout the Wizard years. He lost his quickness & speed after the 2nd retirement (mainly cause he let himself get fat lol) before the Wizard years.
@soldierfitclub1716
@soldierfitclub1716 5 ай бұрын
He started off his second year with Wizards similar to his 98 season. He was averaged like 27.5 ppg or something and a stretch of 10-15 games at 29 ppg until he hurt his knee. Then his minutes when down and efficiency but he played all 82 games anyway. So it shows he seemed to be back in shape again at 40 until he hurt his knee

@@justhur4417Dude you need to learn about aging. Getting older doesn't necessarily mean less energy, not everyone physically declines at the same rate, some keep their peak longer than others, others physically and athletically decline much slower than others. The phrase goes " your only as old as you feel" Why would Michael Jordan even be playing these pick up games if he doesn't have the energy and can't play great anymore. Michael Jordan played with the panthers at this age and schooled them and the players said they have no doubt Michael Jordan could come back to the NBA at 42 and still be effective. Your only as old as you feel, I even saw a video of a 50 year old Jordan dunking.

Lebron and MJ had plenty of time to play against each other without it being in the NBA. And Lebron were always ready to play against anybody without backing down at all. I’m sure MJ had the power to let Lebron play allot of pick up games. He just didn’t want to get exposed going against Lebron🤔

All these click bait headlines....lol...where is the MJ vs LJ footage. huh. and if MJ was 42 and LJ was 20, according to this video info, but MJ was born in 1963 and LJ was born in 1984, guess it was a simple math mistake. the camp, was it in 2004 and LJ joined the NBA in 2003 at 19. hmmm. just asking for a friend who dont watch basketball.
