Bengal's famous Bhapa Sandesh that are just as soft and spongy as Ragulla and much easier to make. You will absolutely love it! :)
Ingredients for Bhapa Sandesh :
(HINDI)
दूध - २+२ चम्मच + २ लीटर
केसर - १ चुटकी
सफ़ेद सिरका - ३ चम्मच
चीनी - १/२ कप
इलाइची पाउडर - १ छोटा चम्मच
---
(ENGLISH)
Milk - 2+2 table spoon + 2 liter
Saffron - 1 pinch
White Vinegar - 3 table spoon
Sugar - ½ cup
Cardamom powder - 1 tsp

One of the most delicious desserts ever! Thank you for the clear instructions sir. An observation I made is that if the batter is runny, the sandesh becomes soft and creamy, not spongy at all. So batter should be thick, like in this video, so then end result will be spongy.

Uncle pranaam. I had tasted a sandesh which looks like what you have made but it also had liquid milk along with the sandesh and it tasted very good. I dont know how exactly it was made but i think after seeing this recipe, that just like dhokla baghaar if we addd warm sweet milk to this sandesh, it will have that effect. Enjoyed learning the bhappa sandesh recipe from you. Thank you.
