Kind of reminds me of the Comic book "Maus" which was a story of the holocaust with the different groups of people potrayed by different animals, Mice were the Jewish people, Poles were pigs, Germans were cats, French were frogs.....and so on

I like the vehicle customization. It’s not often in a war sandbox game where you can customize your units. In games like From the Depths, your building your shit, so that game has very in-depth customization. Then you have other war sandboxes like invasion machine which have prebuilt units with no customization. This strikes a nice middle ground of seemingly freedom of choice (hopefully) while also not being super time consuming.

This game is exactly what I've been looking for. The blend of fantasy with that steam punk feel coupled with my love for the 1st and 2nd World Wars. That first person mode blew my mind. Never expected that. I was thinking to myself "that'd be sick if this was in first person " then bam, there it was lol super hyped

In a way, it increases the creativity with unit design, while also adding a somewhat less serious tone with animal like beings killing each other instead of people doing it. It’s my opinion anyways. It gives it a charm, and it looks cool and I might actually back it on Kickstarter. Once I do more research into the devs and such things.

@@kvjbreaker7054 exactly, and this kind of RTS which adopt the MOW and COH style is already have its fans therefore, just a matter of changing the identity of the character wouldnt alter much of the concept of the game in fact like you said it will add more creativity and less serious element into the game

Men of War is my fav RTS of all time. The historically accuracy of Theatre of War and the fast paced action of CoH. The complex of a war sim with the fun of an arcade game.

@@mr.k4918 not everyone cares about some hybrid style warfare nefariously driven with the idea of rats. simply them using rats is just cash grabbing or throwing the bait out with the scandalous approach of being ratty in games etc etc, tarkov got the treatment when it started dying, heck the only reason that game is still populated is streamers mostly. if people want rats, go buy danger rat. not that being rats is bad or unacceptable but to me its just a furry given approach but trying to be edgier and not as creepy, almost just better with guns and warfare in some mixed style. who knows maybe i missed the rat train and its all super cool now.

Some of the models for the tanks look like they were ripped straight from a game called foxhole, heck, I think there are a couple models that I recognize from foxhole. The tank I’m mentioning is found in 8:00

It's a play on rattencreig (war of the rats) which is what they (the germans) called the fighting in Stalingrad. Due to the soldiers hiding in the rubble of the city like rats and fighting like cornered rats.

This looks great but I wish the scale of the abimals relative to trees, rocks etc were more accurate... Would be tremendously more immersive wouldn't it? Or, if things were taking place near or among human cities or something. Maybe abandoned.
