Who says vaseline is bad for your skin?! It's literally for babies. You can use it as moisturizer, for ashy skin, mix it with aloe Vera help for a simple night cream, you can use it as a primer, it's a great make up remover especially under eyes and it makes your entire body glow without clogging your pores or being too oily. My girlfriend says: (Black don't crack because of Vaseline)

I literally used Vaseline as a primer/moisturizer before makeup. AND OMG it left my makeup flawless!! My makeup ALWAYS used to finish dry, patchy and cakey before using Vaseline. Im always gonna apply vaseline before makeup✨ I highly recommend to do this if you struggle like me

@@LA-cm9uo my face gets a bit oily afterwards, but that’s normal for my skin :) but it holds my makeup really well! I use the milk hydro grip primer before I apply Vaseline !

True. I had no moisturizer, or primer . All i had was vaseline sitting on my counter. I was in hurry. Used it and works so well!! Someone asjed me what makeup i was using. So much glow!

As person with extremely sensitive skin Vaseline is an absolute must for me. It is so gentle on skin. Without it the skin of my face will literally dry up and crack to the point of bleeding. Anything else will cause horrid burning and irritation. People who say Vaseline isn't for skin can go kick rocks.

Gurl...VASELINE is the holy grail!!! I'm from South Africa and i grew up with it, i used it on my child and i can't live without it🙃😢 I think a majority of black homes have Vaseline

OoOo! I definitely need to try this - I've only used vaseline to seal open wounds or acne scars, but as a primer/barrier for makeup (at least on dry patches) is genius!

I've learned early on to apply anything around delicate eye area with ring fingers. they are the weakest finger, less pull on the delicate area. thank you for your video, very interesting.

I was rower and a jogger for many years. Vaseline saved my face during those long winter months when you're running, or on the water and the elements want to destroy your skin. There is no better barrier against harsh, winter weather than good, ole fashion Vaseline. Thanks for the video. I'm definitely trying this. I've been looking for a good primer for dry skin.

I compared the look and feel of primer with Vaseline brand petroleum jelly recently because the primer ordered via the mail was delayed. You have confirmed my sentiments. Thank you for posting this video.

I just found the other day that Medical professionals suggest using Vaseline over lotions and such at night to make sure your skin fully absorbs what you put on it without smudging on your clothes or blankets. I started using it on my son's full body to help his dry skin keep moisture from his lotion since he has crazy eczema and I've now adopted it for myself as part of my skincare routine. I've always struggled with excessive acne and I kid you not within 24 hours of using this over my acne fighting remedies and oils, my skin looks 10x better! Hasnt looked this good since middle school and I fully believe it's soully because my products aren't getting rubbed off. Which led to me wondering if it would be good for a primer this morning. I'm so glad I found this video! No more expensive primers 😁 thank you so much for testing it for us!

I'm a new subscriber. I wanted to try Vaseline an found your video. I currently use it after my face serum an moisturizer then apply the Vaseline to hold in all in. I will try this as a primer this weekend an I sure hope I get the same results. I am 57 in this picture. I use mostly Lancome an benefit, Too Face. But your young an beautiful so you have no wrinkles girl. I don't have many just a few crows feet. I'm also a nut about my upper lip line. I don't smoke an I don't have those wrinkles yet. I've been fortunate. But if you can recommend a good upper lip lotion, serum I'll try it. Thanks for your video love! You made me laugh an it was fun!! 🌹❤️❤️

I stumbled across this hack after wanting to buy a Primer I was using for years. However, the cost hindered me. I will definitely be trying this new hack as vaseline as always been a staple in our household for moisturising bodies, especially feet and heels. If this truly works, I will be so pleased as I would make some significant savings. Thank you 🎉

I use Vaseline as body or lip Mositurizer. Did not work for my hair unfortunately. I do love St. Ives facial collagen Mositurizer before my makeup works. I love oilve oil along my creams for night treatment for my face. People say I look 19 or 20 years old when I am currently 33 years old which is a plus😁👍 by the by, you are so lovely 😍

Please dont use St.Ives, their products are really bad for your skin. Try Cetaphil or Cerave moisturizers!

My skin was getting so dry. I was using all these fancy moisturizers. I couldn't understand it. I then starting using Vaseline as a moisturizer and I cannot believe how good my skin feels. How crazy is that?? The primers were also giving me a rash around my mouth. For now on I am only using Vaseline.

Vaseline isn’t bad for your skin, it doesn’t clog your pores either. But don’t go overboard with it unless you’re using it on areas that need to retain moisture and you apply it on after a moisturiser. Since after you put vaseline, nothing can penetrate it and reach your skin

@@joselinevasquez6527 so sorry for responding late! I didn’t know i had notifications lol. Yes its okay to apply vaseline on oily skin unless you have fungal acne issues. Just make sure you apply it on top of damp skin or on top of hydrating products (serums, moisturisers) You can patch test first, on half of your face for the night and see how your skin responds. Also make sure your skin is clean before u apply vaseline. You can use products on skin before vaseline but make sure you dont have a dirty face or dirty hands. If you sweat on your face at night you might also want to avoid vaseline. If not, it will most probably work for you! And apply a pea size amount in your fingers and rub fingers and then apply gently on clean face if you’re going to! x

Yes this is perfect for dry skin the Vaseline helps with dry skin you can even try mixing a bit of Vaseline with your foundation too

perhaps it’s better not to when it’s too sunny; vaseline is not comedogenic di per se but it’s still an occlusive and it may trap the sweat and dead cells that are underneath, clogging your pores.

I got light wrinkles under my eyes after using MABENLIN hyped primer. Two of my eyes burned and after an year also I have the awrikles one the most affected area of my left eye. I have just applied petroleum jelly and applied makeup. My god wrinkles are disappeared. I have never felt this happy before figuring it out myself. And no wrinkles can be seen while smiling also. Then I searched for videos and got your video. No other moisturizer or primer worked this better.

Vaseline does not dry. This would be so bad for bleeding through your make up during the day. Especially for ppl who already have oily type skin. I would think that would feel gross. Doesnt seem make up would stay in place very well more so smudge while trying to put it on or after ... Might try it for the over night as i wash my face a bit to much becuase of having combination to oily skin. Sometimes my outside layer gets a bit dry.

I think it differs for skin types. I have absolutely bone dry skin as well as eczema , and it wears beautifully undermakeup for me. It makes my full coverage foundation look dewy and glowy and it doesn't really break down my makeup at all. I also think it differs on the amount you're using. If I used too much I'd probably look so greasy

I, myself do not use vaseline/petroleum jelly on my face when the weather is hot because your pores will open and will produce sweat. If you put vaseline in your face then it might cause irritation, then that will cause acne. I suggest not using it during hot weather. ☺️
