Maybe if you do decide to continue with the raw diet, you can make some "ready meals" in advance and then place them in bags and freeze them so all you have to do is thaw it. Might make it easier for you and Judd to keep up with. Hopefully it'll help with her health too and make sure she's staying nice and strong.

You have a service dog, but i'm my dog's service human lol XD. She's mostly deaf and partially blind so she needs someone to assist her most of the time, especially outside. It's not good that she needs that, but I feel like it's a great way to bond with her :)

veggies and fruits are suppose to be blended in a blender or cooked. Dogs don't digest fruits and veggies well. In the wild, the veggies are predigested. The stomach contents of prey are emptied out by wolfs. I have experienced this myself, I was seeing chunks of veggies in my dogs poop. I agree it might be a lot for you given your situation. There are products you can buy to make it easier. Sojos has a freeze dried raw vegetable and fruit mix that is pretty affordable. If you can't find it in your area or if it is expensive checkout Chewy.com. I suggest you use digestive enzymes with Sojos to help your dog digest the veggies and fruits or put it in a blender.

Dogs don't really have the ability to break down plant matter (cellulose). If you want to maximize nutrient absorption you basically need to mince or crush them.

I started raw feeding a few months ago & LOVE it. My groomer said that my fur is shinier and it grew faster. Also you may find Harlow's poo to be slightly firmer. if so do not stress unless it is too dry and hard for him to poo. When dad went to the hospital he took a cooler and added Ice daily. If it appeared we were going to run low on food, or if you do not want to make it we have used 'Nature's Variety Instinct Raw Bites Duck Formula Raw Frozen Dog Food,' from Chewy.com. This is more expensive but works in a pinch. Like you we were blown away by the ingredients of my kibble. but after learning what heating the kibble does to nutrients while making it & learning how phony the labeling regulations are on the food we decided to switch. IT WAS THE BEST DECISION EVER. Good Luck.

Most people have a meal prep day once a month where they prepare all the raw meals, so every night you just take the prepared measured amount out of the freezer and into the fridge to thaw it out for the next day. Also, I wouldn't reccomend mixing raw with kibble. It's best to just cut right to it and go to raw. There's several raw feeding groups on Facebook you can ask questions on :)

So what if raw is too hard-easy method buy pre-cut chicken, basically Harlow would eat 1/4 of a 4-5 pound chicken. Start with just chicken, buy chicken livers and gizzards. Hardest part here is bagging 1/4 of chicken 1/2 liver and 1 gizzard and into the freezer it goes. Judd can help organize this with you so you don't tire and he knows too. When you eat dinner take one bag out and leave in fridge for tomorrow. Should be thawed if not place bag in luke cool water for 15 minutes it is okay if its slightly frozen, you can add a little warm water to her dish, this can be her morning thing or evening thing. For veggies buy can or frozen organic pumpkin or squash, but make sure its plain. Use only one type of meat and veggie to start with at least for a week to see how she does. You should cook the veggie slightly, in pot or microwave, the partial cooking helps dogs with the digestion since they lack enzymes for complete digestions in their unique gut. This portions can be bagged too and when you want you can throw in the whole egg. Dr Dobias' supplements are great, organic and human grade and the directions are easy sprinkle on food. Try to keep her fed in the kitchen so you can just wipe with a disposable wet mop, easy on you and she can make some mess freely. Also see dogs naturally magazine on-line Still too hard, then feed her what you eat cooked, it is way better than bagged food, save the bag food for emergencies if you have to, and you can add left overs that you don't eat, just never onion or garlic. We only use a light sprinkle of garlic powder for health. She gets 75% meat the rest veggies. Just never ever cooked bones! Hope that helps. Raw bones are a must, she will have beautiful strong flawless teeth, plus natural bone broth is good on anything for her. Good luck whatever you do, blessings!

I'm not saying this as hateful kind of comment, but when you said Janice doesn't have GP yet she can't eat I kinda got frustrated. I don't have GP either but I can barely eat anymore. GP is very bad and serious but there's more reasons than that to constantly feel sick.
