Anders this is by far the best watch you’ve shown , I absolutely love dive watches , the bezel compliments the dial perfectly , you can see it reflecting the blue and whatever is in the foreground , you are a lucky man , years ago I had a seiko which was a bit similar to this ( fancy swapping ) ha ha ha . All the best keep up the good work Colin .By the way the seiko has a lovely interesting case back , got a nice little wave on it that you would love , only problem it’s worth about £200 .

Fantastic review! I also own one of these Freelancers. I share the same enthusiasm and sentiments. I believe the movement on mine is an ETA 2824. The quality is a whole level or two higher than the micro brands typically offered at the $500 to $1000 price point. I believe the Freelancer is also regulated. Mine runs around 3 seconds a-day fast.

really nice. I remember Raymond Weil being really prominent in jeweller's windows when I was a boy in the 80's and 90's. they don't seem to get a lot of love on youtube or the respect that other swiss brands seem to do. perhaps because they were only started in the early 1970's and don't have the history and heritage of a lot of the others?

An interesting watch but not a fan of the silver face...it reminds me of the inside of a soda can, kinda looks cheap. Bezel edge also not doing it for me...coin edge much nicer. The band also is really not for a dive watch and that plain back...well that's just cost cutting. Crown is also a bit meh. I like the ceramic insert, but it's a no for me.
