You could actually run the mouse with low power mode at 100% and without any real performance hit, which significantly increases battery life! EDIT: Apparently it only increases battery life with about 10 hours best case scenario, so not that significant.

Love how this feels in the hand. Got a g pro x super light and it’s a good mouse, but I find it very slippery and the size is just a tad too small for my hand. This one feels like the g703 does but without the angle.

So far my only issue with viper mice is that the shape of the m1 m2 mouse buttons causes them to squeak a ton after heavy use

I just bought it!! I was waiting so long for this. They really listened to the community on this one!! I loved the shape on the RVU but hated the side buttons and I play Fortnite so I use them a lot and everytime I wanted to press them I had to change my grip a little + I would press the side buttons on the right side by accident when playing. Another good feature is the on board memory which I missed on my Razer Orochi v2. This will be my main for sure!!!

@@frogidty Yeah i mean a high hump towards the back so it supports my claw grip, but the Viper is a low profile mouse and the hump is a bit to the front while it's almost not there if that makes a bit of sense

Do you ever consider the grip that ethos uses, where his pinky can be on the mousepad (to quickly move mouse back to point A, by pinky marking it)? I think that's the strength of a skinnier mouse.

7:24 going from the Razer Mamba Tournament Edition to the Viper V2 Pro made me realize how nice it is to have no singular parts for grips.. The grip straps (or whatever you call those tiny rubber plates) came off on the left (thumb) side after about 1,5 years of usage. Tried to glue them back on, but it ended up being the reason I went ahead and bought a new mouse 😂

Nice review and comparison... I used previously the glorious D- and I loved it, except for the cable. I tried the wireless version but I had a double click issue, I returned. Next I tried the Logitech superlight I didn't like the shape, and I hated the micro USB port...SO, WHICH WIRELESS MOUSE DO YOU RECOMMEND FOR SOMEONE WHO LOVED THE GLORIOUS D MINUS?

It's good to not have the rubber aside. I have 2 da v2 pros. It will wear and tear with time of use. Hope there's a v3 pro which includes these changes.

do you feel that the stock v2 feet are faster than the stock gpx feet? i have a feeling that the shape and size of the v2 will suit my hand MUCH more than my gpx, but i need the control so i’m not sure about making the swap

I think this is the biggest step in the definitely-right direction for Razer. This might be one of the best mice of 2022, and I can personally see this having a lot of longevity until technology progresses further.

but at its price point for what you get the original viper ultimate with the dock is a much better deal, it just has more features, ever so slightly worse switches and a sensor, and weighs like 12 grams more

@@sniperpro1992 The dock tends to lose its usefulness very quickly. A lot of people have to dust it often or the thing just doesn't work at all. RGB off was for the performance, and weight is subjective. I see this as Razer's top tier, raw performance, best gaming mouse they could possibly manufacture. It's all performance and is meant to compete with the Superlight, hence the price. Although, with time, I think it'll dwindle down in price like the original Viper did.

@@sniperpro1992 this is superior in every aspect, I can tell you now. The stove buttons, they are completely two leagues above the normal. Lighter, better sensor and switches, no RGB and no right side buttons are all something the competitive community really appreciates.

What shakes on the ultimate is the door to the little compartment on the bottom side for the dongle holder. If you remove it nothing shakes on the ultimate.

i usually use Lexi P Ceramic feet but recently got the Superlight and cant use Lexis on the Superlight. Are Superglides the stock feet or are they 3rd party?

@@bcsuperfan17 superglides are aftermarket feet, however it’s 100% worth buying them if you want a fast moving mouse that weighs literally nothing. I put superglides on my g303 (70g) and it made the mouse feel 10g lighter gliding over the mousepad. Once you get superglides mousepad choice doesn’t really matter cause they all feel relatively fast

I've used a razer deathadder since like 2013 and now I just got the gpro x superlight this month with skates. Haven't tried it yet but, would you say to keep it and use it or return it and get the razer viper ultimate. I don't know which mouse would fit my hand better :(.

I can't wait to use this. You can use a faster pad or skates, but it doesn't remotely emulate a lighter mouse. It just compounds the problem.

bro honestly bought the white mouse the first day it came out and its the best decision I ever made this mouse has done me better than the GPro and my final mouse for my hand size 20x9 I play a relaxed to aggressive claw and it suits that so perfectly only other mouse I've enjoyed as much as this one was the final mouse but the QC issues are what got me #1 mouse for me so far if you like final mouse weight and the viper shape then this is most definitely endgame

I actually prefer this shape to the GPX but I absolutely despise the coating, I just cannot deal with it. While the GPX has the best coating I’ve felt on a mouse.

Why is there no 8k or higher than 1k support? I have the 8k that has the older sensor now, but if I upgrade to this I lose the lesser latency settings for the better Pixart sensor

@boardzy About the Pixart 3395 sensor exclusivity, I don't think it's a Razer exclusive sensor as the Endgame Gear XM2 Wireless will also have that Pixart 3395 sensor if I am not mistaken. So basically Razer is getting a bespoke sensor out of cherry picked golden samples of 3395, 26k vs 30k dpi, 650 vs 750 IPS, 50 vs 70G but both Focus Pro and 3395 (being the same base sensor) should have the same 3 features, motion sync, smart tracking and asymmetric cut off. So you're not losing on features just about 15% on specs (which are already overkill on the base 3395 anyways)

Everything looks nice, but coming from owning 2 viper ultimates, idk if I’m really a fan of the shape, the flatness makes it feel slippery(or it can be the shell problem)
