Glad to see the package arrived! Can't wait to see what you do with it all. Thanks for the kind words and shoutout. I knew you and full throttle RC were at the front end of converting mini RCs into monsters, but hadn't seen Tomley's video. I'll make sure sure to watch it and start mentioning him when I talk about where it all started.

For a nitro basher, A Traxxas T-Maxx is great for bashing with very minimal upgrades. Love the Maxx series of trucks. Have a great day Kev, hope you consider upgrading the Losi Baja Rey 1/10

I agree. Tmaxx was my first rc (22 years ago). My upgrades were some rpm bumpers/skids and control arms, aluminum shock towers and aluminum bulkheads. If rpm makes shock towers now or bulkheads id go with those instead of aluminum because the aluminum is a lot more weight. The lighter you keep it the less you'll break it

The Traxxas Nitro Revo 3.3 is the best Nitro basher in the world in my opinion, but then again, I have been bashing one since 2008, and i also got the Nitro Slayer, same frame, shorter arms, Short course truck style body, not quite as fun in my opinion

@@sergio3234 HPI builds bubblegum bullshit in my opinion. The only HPI I ever owned needed to be repaired with purchased parts every time I drove it... Was an original HPI Savage... POS... So I have the same feelings about this one

The Blade nano was actually my first RC Helicopter. 😂👍 It’s pretty tough and the parts are not that expensive... was a great model to learn!

I am few years too young for tamiya, I remember my older cousin and his teenage mates all being well into them. Nowadays theyre like the Airfix of the RC world IMO

I see a lot of T Maxx fans here. Having had both the T Maxx And the Nitro Revo, I have only kept my Revo's. The TMaxx gave me nothing but trouble. After installing the RPM Tru Track suspension on the revo, I have had no problems for years. I beat the hell out of my revo!!

Im not even a Traxxas fan but...TMAXX! me and a few of my friends had them as teenagers like 15 yrs ago or something. Good memories with the traxxas nitro stuff.

The savage in its day was unbeatable, only problem I had with it for YEARS was ball joints popping off. Never had them break still have all the original parts on it(besides the engine cus I stripped the glow plug out of it.. my fault lol)

Revo 3.3 is an amazing basher but meant more for the track. I rarely had any issues with it. I broke a few arms as usual. Upgraded and never had a problem again. But for full on bashing I would go with the T Max they were strong as can be I used to jump mine into big sand and gravel pits probably 60-80 foot drops and never broke a sweat I broke a few shock caps changed to aluminum same with arms and never touched a thing after.

Losi Aftershock was my first rc and still have it today. I cracked the bulkhead back in 2007 still to this day haven't fixed it but she has runs great. I think if the losi aftershock was still available I'd say it would win 100%

Press a few sheets of aluminum foil into those body shells. That way you can use the shells over and over again...and the aluminum copies, being real metal, should look better when crushed.

T-maxx is a great basher. When the 3.3 wears out go to dynamite. Cheaper to rebuild and same power. IMO

On your scx6 if you take the shock cups off the bottom of the springs it will sit a little lower I did that with mine and it works good the tires will probably rub a little bit on the wheel wells for crawling of course. Unless you do your normal bashing then leave the cups on.

When the monster truck is done take it to the skate park and send it to the moon! Also you should make the monster truck remote controlled. Have the option of driving it yourself or with a controller. Cheers mate

Kev get the egress and race the Evo and egress together I’ve never seen them going head to head Also it would be cool to see a tamiya Clodbuster being hopped up with parts from companies you use for your bashers to see if it is possible to make it into a descent basher.

Losi LST XXL is a great nitro basher, my mate was a HPI fan boy and used to bash them pretty hard, Losi went great with the Ofna big bore upgrade!

For Nitro basher, go for a Hobao ST PRO, dont think anything will touch it in terms of toughness. I’ve got one running 6s instead of Nitro and it handles so much abuse, everything is the same as the Nitro. If you dont enjoy it and say its really good, I’ll buy it off of you. I keep my word.

I agree on the nitro bashed. I was an HPI guy for years even have the 5.9 as well. I prefer the T-maxx 3.3. It is a much better nitro then the hpi.
