HobbyKing is your best bet. Just about any 5g servo will work. You could maybe use a 3.7g. if you go to 0:42 on the video you can pretty much find everything you need if you look for those parts in hobbyking's website.

You can but be very frugal with it as it becomes heavy quickly. Think of it this way, put the gluestick on a scale and then consider how much of that stick goes into that plane.

HobbyKIng is the best place I have found. You can buy everything I am using also on ebay or other retailers.

Most radios have a channel mixer. What I do is connect one to the Aileron channel and another to the Elevator channel. Then I add a 100% of elevator on the Aileron and a 100% mix of Aileron to the elevator. That way they both move for any input. When you pull up you should see both elevons point up and down when pushed down on the stick. Then when you roll left you should see the left elevon (when looking in the direction of flight) point up and the right elevon should point down. When you roll right you should see the same.

Calculate your wing area and ensure that you are about 1/4 to 1/3 behind the center of gravity to make the nose heavier than the tail. As far as calculation for weight and speed and so on what you want to research is wing loading and power to weight. Generally speaking, faster planes have a higher wing loading while more easier flying planes will have a lower wing loading. For smaller craft a minimum of 1:1 power to weight ration is recommended. As you go larger you can have less power to weight. Everything I have has at least a 1:1 with the exception of my big 8' wingspan plane.

You plug one elevon into the aileron channel and the other into the elevator. You mix the elevator with the aileron and the aileron with the elevator. this way both channels respond to both elevator and aileron input.

The mixing is done in the transmitter. You will need to ensure that you have a receiver capable of this. You need a receiver that has at least 3 channels. You will need a transmitter that is made for aircraft, a pistol style will not work.

I give all the dimensions in the video. When I run across the source material (I am in the middle of archiving) I will do an overlay of all the major dimensions at once.
