I am interested in this power set up but you do not talk about the performance increase in detail. Can you quantify the performance (lbs/thrust) and run time increase I would expect to see?

Hi, When you installed the JetFan EDF, to make it fit, did you have to shave just the EDF cover or did you shave the EDF cavity in the jet also? Thanks.

That's what I use, JP 105mm. It is much livelier than the ChangSun fan that my Viper came with. But I think the new HSD S-EDF fans (that are now stock in HSD planes) are better than ChangSun

Hi, thanks for the upgrade info for the HSD 105 F-16. Does this jet have enough room for the 14S option in that EDF? It looks like it's got ample length room and a smidge more height and width room. I'm looking to inch out a bit more performance then I'm seeing with the 700- 83-780 setup. I realize I may have to get a higher amp ESC to accommodate. Thanks for your thoughts.

@@PilotRyanMedia Hi, I emailed Andy and have confirmed that this F-16 will have room for a 14S setup. Because there wasn't much choice as far as 7S lipos, I went with two 6S and a 2S. Either way, there is room but it is cramped. I also went with the longer motor in the 700-98-780 series JetFan as it will absorb more heat.

speaking of JP do you have a JP fan that size? and which one do you think is more efficient Jet fan or JP?

Yes sir! There is a JP 105 in stock. As far as efficiency goes, they’re pretty closely matched.

How about HSD upgrade and sell these planes that fly the way they should? I'd love to get one but I've held off due to the reviews and I don't think I should have to do all of this to get a new jet to fly decent.
