Regular Car Reviews goes to the Philly Auto Show, because car meets don't happen in the winter. Featuring cars from Dumb & Dumber, The Fast & the Furious, and the depths of the General Motors braintrust, it's an old-fashioned RCR car show adventure. Get a look at the Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray, the electric Chevy Silverado and Chevy Blazer, the Ford Bronco, the Mustang, a whole lot of MOPAR, some way-too-fancy Lamborghini and Aston-Martin models, pickup trucks, Jeeps, classic cars, and even a Monster Truck. It's just another day in Philadelphia.

its more nobody brought anything special to Philly, this show gets smaller and smaller every year. Not even a single Civic Type R. The "tuner" section just lets any garbage in too.

They are dying. Even the ones that are good like LA. It’s a different era. When they stopped doing concept cars, I sort of stopped paying attention. I’m hoping Detroit is still good.

@@NoodlesExtraMSGActually, the real reason the text was there was because RCR always regretted selling his red new edge Mustang, named “Betty.” He regretted it even while he was selling it. Just another person who fell victim to the “have to grow up, therefore must get rid of my toys” nonsense that society places on people. I have a 94. Had it since I was 16. I am 41yo now, and it truly is ridiculous the amount of stigma such a car has. Refusing to sell is refusal to grow up. Putting a child seat in the back is considered reckless, and you should have your kid taken from you. Like seriously, the very second people found out I was expecting, it was “so when are you going to sell the mustang?” Of course, now, I get nothing but compliments for having it. It’s just that odd period in your life that you’re supposedly not supposed to have it. You buy it back when you’re middle aged and want to relive your youth. You’re not supposed to keep it for the entire duration.

It's what they're all turning into. The manufacturers unfortunately seemed to have quit caring about these things post COVID. Now the only presenters left are big local dealerships, car clubs, and all the generic booths full of junk you'd find on the outskirts of a county fair or home improvement show.

The corvette e-ray is a great piece of tech and Im not sure if youre making a joke or being a boomer about it. Its designed to keep you accelerating during shifts, not to improve range or efficiency.
