@@kandiforeman615 I never said live perfectly because I know we all will never reach that mark until we get to heaven but we as the body of Christ have to be mature in our walk with the Lord and be serious about our walk with Him. We can never get to a place where we play with the Lord. That's what "perfect" meant in the Bible "to be mature" not to be flawless. Yes we all have our own salvation to work on with Jesus but we can't get so careless with our relationship with Him.

At the end of the day if my momma or a seasoned saint says you need to live what you preach or who you represent thats what's called leadership honey. And u say yes mam and keep that tucked away in your little heart and the times when the enemy wanna try you, God will allow whoever said those words to come racing back to your memory and you will be glad they said it because I'm sure it was said in love, not for u to be defensive sweetheart💋

I mean no disrespect to the Clark family or any other people the black church always declares to be a woman or man of God! Pur people has the tendency to throw that "man of god, woman of god, & anointed title around, just a little too freely! Sure; the Clarks have a unique sound and share a few grammys! And they all use a lot of entertaining acrobatic vocal exercises and other techniques in their singing! But, who of us humans can truly say it is
@shirley95294 жыл бұрын
and they are anointed and totally of God! We can only hope and pray that the Clarks are even anointed! Just because they found commercial appeal and sound different is no reason for the public to continue exalting these people or any other entertainers! Only God can judge and really know who is actually for real and truly anointed! Again, I am not throwing any shade or disrespect on the Clark's! They are only mere human beings like the rest of us! Yes. I had never seen this and at the same time I said come on Dorinda. That was God. She loved all of them but I guess Dorinda was her momma's girl. Of course she loved them all.

Dr. Mattie Moss Clark Ear was supernaturally impeccable where Twinkie and her are the ONLY ones in that family with perfect pitch, PLEASE noone say under this comment that Dorinda and Karen has perfect pitch in which they DO NOT. They do have AMAZING ears ESPECIALLY Karen but she doesn't posses what her mom and Twinkie has. So imagine with that ability they have you can only imagine what Mattie's ear was interpreting and her mind was thinking. To put this in context you have to understand at this time in history gospel music/singing was NOT approached the way Twinkie Clark approached she was at this time doing alot experimenting with her instrument (voice) and I can only imagine Mattie's Ear was like " WOW What my daughter is doing is creating a different style of singing just as I did with the choir and made history she's currently making history" Y'all don't sleep on Dr. Mattie Moss Clark there's noway you could have produced a Twinkie Clark if you yourself was not musical genius in which she was. ***Written In Respect*** #MyFavTwinkie

@G M no you shut up. You know it's TRUE that some mothers wanted their daughters to be that talented. Or try to raise daughters like her. I know there must be a church mother saying "it's because they light skinned, they ain't all that" I seen someone post that years ago

I'm not a Christian, but Twinkie's singing soothed me here (and she did it SITTING down! 🤯😍). She's truly angelic and so is Dr. Clark. Dorinda was wonderful too in her way. Regardless of what you believe you cannot knock the legendary, pioneer status of this family. Truly gifted ladies.

Being a vocalist, I've sung over hoarseness many, many times. The spirit is what's missing today. Back then we had the spirit. There was no finesse, piano, organ, the voices, and sweat. Thats all we had, but we gave it to a Worthy God. I can say I lived in the era of Mattie Moss Clark RIP.
