Tip: put a flat head screwdriver in the sleeve of the lock nut instead of loosening with pliers and avoid scratching the ribbles

Useful video ❤ RE is not good at setting up right slack for bikes coming from factory. My H450 is an example. How come the chain slack is related to hard gear shifts? My Himalayan makes thud sound when I shift to 2nd gear. Could it be chain being tight? I feel chain is a bit tight.

Thanks mate. Next video will be on drive chain slack adjustment and how it effect gear shift :) Cheers

Sir i have installed prospec easy clutch from local mechanic . Clutch is snooth but still i am feeeling that setting is not upto the mark there is little bit jerkiness while acceleration and there is weird sound coming from engine bay past 70-80 km mark and bike is heating more compared to the normal one . How can i adjust to get oprimal results

Hey mate easy clutch was actually not needed for this bike. Try and get it returned/uninstalled About the "weird sound coming from engine bay past 70-80 km mark" part, which gear are you in and what RPM, please observe and mention

@@leuheanrede I my case I find it little hard on clutch side . I have little issue with my index finger it starts paining on city rides. If I will stay with easy clutch will it create issues on longer run or it will be normal

@@leuheanrede I was just watching some videos related to Himalayan 450 chassis breakage where people are correlating weight of rider, fitting aftermarket engine gaurds with chassis breakage. So just out of curiosity i asked you the question 😂. Please don't mind. And is it true, will Rider's weight play such a serious role on the bike's chassis. Are these bikes built that weak? And will aftermarket engine guards harm the integrity of the vehicle??
@leuheanrede27 күн бұрын
@@balaji1952 🙂 It's scary actually, but I strongly believed its becos of the aftermarket crash guards. Then I saw one bike which didn't have any but still met the same fate. Lose/missing engine mounting bolt has been the reason for one.. its wait and watch for the second

@@leuheanrede yes. Hoping RE won't disappoint their most loved bike(Himalayan) customers.
