I come from complex trauma…neglect…but I have no problem connecting to parasympathetic nervous system activities…art. Reading, etc… I was left a lone a lot. I don’t mind being alone now…I am not drawn to chaos as my home was stressful and I desire to avoid stress at all cost.

My default setting is rejection. When I feel accepted, I feel uncomfortable.

All of this takes a lot of awareness. Someone acting extremely immature because their partner is chatting it up at a party with ppl won’t stop to think about it, they blame the other person for how they feel. Imagine how silly that is, no one can make us feel anyway, it’s our feelings but we don’t stop to rationalize the situation. Thankful for awareness, life is now beautiful and less difficult. I’m not totally there but I’m getting there.

I notice some cannot bring in a contentment per self, always instead seeking it from outside, perhaps with the bottle or with people, one after another.

That's been my mind set my whole life. I always want to be somewhere else that where I'm at doing things I'm not doing with people I'm not with.

I remember the first time I saw graffiti on a train, or wall, at first it was shocking and irritating, after a while I ignored it. It's still there, and now I look at it differently, and try to understand it

I have a hard time always in understanding ppls comments and what exactly they are trying to say? I can’t tell if they are mocking, being sarcastic or just the way they talk. And sometimes when they cross the respect line I freeze and n feel I can’t reply because if I would then I will look bad or may be I will not choose the words wisely. Also I lash out, N on other occasions I can’t tell I was being disrespected by someone.
