Children do not usually like to wait. They have a small window of tolerance. Parents must teach children the value of patience and how to gain a bigger window of tolerance. Complex Trauma makes patience even more difficult. Tim explains why and gives tools for increasing patience.

You have a talent and a skill of explaining these “common” issues in the most personalized, uncommon way that breathes life into and puts a spotlight on all the hidden reasons we suffer. Thank you! Thank you being you and sharing with the world!

Thank you very much for teaching us these things. It made me more aware of my impatience and what is associated with it from my experiences.

Tim, Your videos have been very helpful to me. I wonder if you would consider putting this information into a book or a series of books, including the written outlines and your narrative. I think it would be helpful to others with complex trama to have this information on hand. I'm not a publisher or anything like that. Just an idea i had while watching the videos. Thanks for the gift of your knowledge.

Great video. Learned so much. Makes me wonder how many "symptoms" of impatience are confused with narcissistic traits or narcissism itself. I bet if more people eventually learned true patience--and grew their "window of tolerance"--we would experience fewer narcissists/narcissism around us and within ourselves.❤

Yet another great and relatable video! Thank you so much. P.S. Only thing that would make it better is if the greek word pronunciation was not butchered! Obviously not Tim's fault as I understand this is how they're being used in English. If curious it's Ee-po-mo-nee and Makro-thee-mee-ah

I've been listening to a podcast lately called Breathcast Take a Deep Breath with Mike Maher. British fella interviews experts on breathing. Most of us are doing it wrong, causing stress etc.
