I just watched it and it makes me so happy to know that Reacher was not wrong about Tony Swan!

That eye and finger in the jar really made my heart sink when I saw the looks on their faces. This season was satisfying and I can't wait for season 3.

They didn’t waste any time rescuing O’Donnel and Dixon. The action in New Age started by Reacher handcuffed and creating chaos, enough time for Neagle and three troopers to free Reacher. It was action packed and suspenseful while Reacher performs superhero heroics to finally get rid of Langston. Great story brought TV. Looking forward to season 3. Thanks for a great recap.

The ending of AM rendered all the prior scenes of AM a waste of time. His speech made no sense after painting him as a ruthless killer with no hesitation. His falling into the trap was a disappointment after his previous signs of hyper awareness and survival techniques. And his quick, efficient murders across the country was pointless when he was absolutely no threat to Reacher and the team. Meh.

This season was soo good, I know they are doing season 3 but I hope it also gets a 4th one Alan Ritchson did an incredible job.

I'd totally missed the part where Reacher answers "visiting family" and how wholesome that actually was

This is one of the best drama series I have seen in years!!! They picked the perfect guy for the role. I have not looked forward to each new episode of a show since the first run of 24.

I have watched season one and two and I had loved both of them. It’s such a great TV series. It should be winning awards for being such a great TV series show can’t wait to be seen this into more series in episodes

The look on Reacher's face when Dixon tells him that she wants to introduce him to her parents is pure hilarity as she said it with a straight face leading the viewer to wonder how serious she is before she reveals she's punking him. Saying that though I could see Reacher and Dixon as a couple way more than him and Roscoe and not just because of their past as it was clear from this season that there was a spark from the beginning of their working relationship. And while Roscoe could be a good match for Reacher as they do compliment each other, it was clear that Reacher see's Roscoe as more of a cousin he had a brief fling with than someone he would consider settling down with should the mood ever take him and I can see Dixon being cool with Reacher spending days away travelling as she would know he would always return. Granted I don't think Lee Child would ever go down that route, atleast not anytime in the near future, but if he decided to explore that route as a standalone book, I think the fans would embrace it.

At the end of the day, Alan Ritchson is THE reason I enjoy this so much!

I LOVE SEASON 2. Like most tv series. The second season may not. Be as good as season 1. But shows always catch their strive. when the 3rd season comes.

If I'm being absolutely honest, this season was a bit of a letdown. There was a small possibility someone on Reacher's team was a traitor. I'm glad no one was. But beyond that there was never a doubt what was going to happen. I wish there was a little less torture. A man in his 60s punching a wall like Reacher is dumb. Torturing Dixon and O'Donnell also seemed kind of pointless. Killing Russo also seem kind of mean spirited. This is not the first time I found Amazon's eight episode format. Annoying. I bet the show would have been way better with one or two more episodes. Still a great show. I'm glad Dixon won't be sticking around. would like to see an appearance by Roscoe though.

I can't remember the book title, but I'd like to see an adaption of the one where basically the whole town is in on a plot to make snuff films. If I remember right, it doesn't have a lot of supporting cast, but the book had a few great action moments that I think would look amazing

Can I HIGHLY recommend you have a look at Mr Inbetween (Disney + and Hulu) It’s only 3 seasons long and each episode is less than half an hour. It’s dark, poignant and clever funny with a central character (Ray) who has all the grounded charisma of Tony Soprano, Jack Reacher and Raylan Givens. The show excels at the maxim of “show, don’t tell”. The Wire is the greatest show of all time, closely followed by The Sopranos, but Mr Inbetween is my favourite show of all time. Of worthy note, the show is written by the guy who plays Ray…and he’s never acted before….it’s mind boggling how much talent is on display here.

hm season 1 is better imho. i don't like that the season 2 finale is dumbed down. the special investigators unit is supposed to be the unexpectedly intelligent pack of muscles. i don't know if this is really how it went down in the books (i haven't read any of them) but by rights, reacher and dixon should have fallen to their deaths. the finale is more popcorn entertainment than a show about rogue soldiers fighting the system.

Overall I liked the show - but it was very different from season 1. The first thing that changed was the dialogue was not nearly as loud as season 1. It seemed that they changed how they recorded the actors voices in terms of volume. Secondarily, the screens had a darkness to them. The chemistry between the actors wasn’t even close. It was apparent that the connection just wasn’t as good as with Finley and Rosco. The connection between them this time seemed forced and contrived. It was almost like they had a different film crew and voice mix.

this was a good season because it showed what his old buddies thought about his wandering homeless lifestyle. one good bit of writing was reacher finally buying a bus travel plan so he can always get a ride to wherever there is trouble.

I loved it. I work two jobs, so Reacher is kinda my me time when I can finally afford to stay up late. Seemed shorter than season one. Was that just me or due to the strikes?

Reacher mocking Langston for making an assumption then immediately making an assumption that the helicopter pilot has the information he needs. 😂

I love how we see they left millions of dollars to the falling they lost to their family and friend like we see Reacher gave millions to one of the brother family and etc. and this season was good from beginning to end and I have no doubt we going get season 3 and it kinda sad how he alone and I was shock that swam was dead, I thought he went into hiding or was a double agent but no see he was kill to aleast Reacher and the other took one picture at the end remember the falling

Another fantastic season of "Reacher" in the can, folks! My favorite scene had to be the slo-mo walking-into-the-diner at the end scene. It was very satisfying! Kick ass, and then grab a cup-o-joe and some pancakes at the local diner.

in spite of them moving the location, screwing up the characters, and beating the heck out of Reacher, the movie was really good. Movies are rarely as good as the book, but at least this Reacher is more than a 5ft5 little dude. I think Neagley is the real star of the series so far. She and Reacher really show up and show off....

I was afraid that Francis would be the secret bad guy, and happy when she was not. The world needs honorable (and violent ) officers like Reacher and his crew. This show is fantastic, and I put this show up there with my current favorites: Star Trek Discovery, Abbott Elementary, The Orville and Miss Scarlett and the Duke!

Bigger cast, much higher consequence free body count. I’m a big guy who spent considerable amounts of time on Trailways buses when I was younger. Reacher is much bigger than me. How does he fit in those seats? And stay jacked living out of cheap hotels with nothing more than a toothbrush and diner food? Great casting does not cover all of the slights of hand.

I thought this season was ok and was rush towards the end. For a slow burned story like this should've been 16 episodes instead of 8 1st season was strong because it was paced fantastic

I expected a head butt and a few elbows and knees to Langston before he throws him out…he deserved to feel pain before the fear of thinking, as he dropped from the helicopter, what reaching terminal velocity would do to his body when he hit the ground.

I thought it was really good, i liked how they were able to end the last season a very finished note and were able to pick it back up in season 2. Granted the dialog in some of the episodes seemed a bit cringe but i was able to look past it.

I love Reacher both seasons. I hope there is a season 3 because I want to see Roscoe again. Since Finley was in season 2 , she may be in season 3? Either way it was a great story line. Alan does a great job as Jack Reacher. Way better then Tom Cruise ever could do.

i liked this - i loved the whole team camradery - but S1 worked better for me because of that final scene where he dons the military gear and facepaint and goes to work taking out a crew of nasty killers. He takes a few punches along the way and even a brief struggle in the pool against that skinny dude from Trainspotting... which tbh had me thinking "nah no way... 82lb skinny guy holding down 250lb 6ft5 tank whose been in the military most of his life?!" anyway it was still really cool as it really gave a dark and extremely dangerous undertone to Reachers pure abilities underneath his detective and sleuth work.. not someone to be messed with once the switch is flipped. S2 didn't get that sort of scene... the cg double jumping onto the copter (albeit only a couple seconds) was hard to watch.. and then him holding onto the hospital bed and girl whilst being kicked just felt too much. there was a cool moment where he takes out Langstons goons in the truck trailer park and its wet n muddy - piling bodies up in a bus lol. anyway - both seasons have been great fun... Ritchson deserves all the good stuff coming to him - very well earned and i hope we see him in some big pictures in the future... outside of a side role on Fast X (which was still cool lol!)

Good adaptation

Sesaon 1 was just a bit better, but that might have been because it was surprisingly good. No one expected it to be a hit. Season 2 had to be different. I suppose they gave us a bit more background on his teamwork, not just Neaghley. It did have the awesome opeimg scene of the car jacking. I hope season 3 brings more of his dedication skills, cat, and mouse plot. Probably one of the most enjoyable shows on Prime. They got a winner here.

This season was decent, although a bit of a step down from season 1. I did like the dynamics between the characters more in this one, but the finale was a bit underwhelming just like season 1. This especially applies to the way they handled A.M. in this one. So much great build up as a villain/nemesis only for him to die like that. I wish they did more with him.

I thought this season really missed the point of who Reacher is. He went from a calm, calculated investigator, to a meathead killer I just kept thinking of the line "Somehow Palpatine returned" as I saw that "somehow the found the bad guys", "somehow they turned up just in time", "somehow they didn't just shoot them in the head", "somehow he got on the chopper", "somehow they didn't just tip him out", "somehow they feds cleaned everything up", "somehow $65M just disappears", "somehow people get boxes of money and the banks would be just fine with that"... come on!! It was written by 10 year old boys, for 10 year old boys

So what happened to the old man in the unit? 🤷🏼‍♂️

I loved reading the Jack Reacher books by Lee Child. Having Tom Cruise playing Reacher was soo stupid.

When the Incredible Hulk sees Reacher coming, he turns back into Bruce Banner right quick.

Season 1 was amazing. Season wasn’t as good, but still enjoyable. Season 2 episode was the best episode of the season IMO. The fights, explosions, & writing were great. I know people are upset about AM being wasted, but I thought his death was HILARIOUS. His character could’ve much more but I loved that they unloaded on him 😂

Maybe I missed it, but did Marlo Burns get any of that money? Maybe Reacher didn't give her any because it would look like she was part of the shady deal.

So campy, good campy. The campiness doze that these days entertainment needs desperately. Hoping for the 3rd season.

Personally I enjoyed it. I don't get hung up on the plot changes, that's always the case with tv adaptations.
