The déchèterie (dump/recycling centre) in our village is closed on Wednesdays. The other week I forgot what day it was, drove up to the barrier and despite it being Wednesday it opened… I dumped my stuff thinking how quiet it was. Then drive to the exit, locked shut - so I was locked in! Then another guy drove in, then another two cars! All of us stuck in the dump! So I called the town hall and they got in touch with the manager who lived 15km away! We got let out! What fun we had! Life is cool in rural France!

If it's allowed in France - temporarily attach some plywood boards to the metal mesh walls (inside) of your trailer & get a tarp to tie down on top so you can put more dirt in at once & tarp over it to keep debris from flying out while you're driving.

Congrats on your first cup of tea in your home. You inspired me to fix a cup and really enjoy your video. One suggestion is to get a plastic container for all your tea making supplies to fit into and seal up. This way all the construction dust will stay off of the tea supplies. Even put the "kettle" into something and seal it up after using it.
