Kina Grannis' "The Way You Are" (duet with David Choi) is good, as is 'My Time With You" (another duet with David... watch the one where they film themselves at the beach).... these two duets show Kina about 7 years ago...

omg.... I am HUGE Kina Grannis fan.... there are so many videos of hers to see and enjoy... try this one - just type Kina Grannis and 'jelly beans'.... trust me... her early stuff is so endearing....

One of my favorite things is when talented musicians/singers get together for sessions in a less formal setting. The music performances seem to be more intimate and personal. Very interesting observations on this performance, Natalie. I always appreciate your take on these videos. You pick up on things that I would never notice. Go pet the dog and get some rest! Scott and Kevin wouldn't understand addiction so up beat exactly how it was sung . This version is one of the best .

I agree with you a bit - the merge of their two voices didn't work for the tone of the song. Her voice is too bell like and he was adding dynamics and shading that she didn't mirror. I liked the choice of the beat though ...it kind of reminds me of the constant, relentless hustle for more money for more drugs. I like them both, but not together, if that makes sense.
