This was the first time that Su-metal has channelled Snow White's step mother and Moametal has quoted Shakespeare's witches from MacBeth ... it isn't the first time they have had Prog Metal elements in one of their songs - that was what I think threw you briefly at the start ('Tales of the Destinies' on the second album was full on Prog). This video used footage from both the Black and Clear Night concerts on 1st and 2nd April last year - there are parts where they are in mirror image - one side is from one and the other side from the second concert (the costumes were slightly different on each night).

Welcome back to the Foxhole and BabyMetal's metalverse 🦊🤘🌐 Cool to see you reacting to this song, its even one of SuMetal's favorite from this album. I like the progressive metal elements, that heavy breakdown and the existential questions. There's also a reference to Macbeth in the lyrics besides the obvious lines famously known by Snow White tale. Here's some official info: Mirror Mirror (MIRROR) _Mirror, mirror on the wall...this song embodies a parallel world where the world inside the mirror and the world of reality go back and forth._ _Is what you see in the mirror your true self or the self you wish to be?_ Mirror Mirror was the 5th and final single they released from this new album called The Other One released in March 2023 showing us a new sound and a BM side we've never seen before with this metalverse. This was at BabyMetal Begins - The Other One - Clear Night live at PIA Arena MM, Yokohama, last April 2nd with MomoMetal debuting as the new official third member, she was one of the avengers since 2019 and we're all proud of her, but don't think this as a replacement of YuiMetal, she's like a new incorporation to this group for this new lore and metalverse era. Also the BM logo change, it doesn't have the skull and the heart in the B letter, as well there's only three feathers in the logo unlike four prior to this. The Western Kami Band was in charge of these shows but the audio here is studio album track. They performed this at the World Tour 2023 and everyone were having a blast with their classic songs and the new ones. Last weekend they held two big live shows called Legend MM celebrating MomoMetal's 21 birthday and she sang a special version of Headbanger!! affectionately called MomoBanger, as well Meta Taro (or Momo Taro). Great reaction. @Grington300 just mentioned Su channelled Snow White's evil step mother. I just realized, I would eat any apple Su offered me.... poison or not. #maybeacult.
