HVAC guy here the guy on the ladder was just holding the the metal housing case of the condenseing unit. There was no copper or aluminum refrigeration lines on the inside the metal housing case. The refrigerant lines typically get put in and installed later. The compressor was also not on the inside the metal housing case. The metal housing case alone is super light weight and could be carried up to the roof top that way
