When this happened, it was said that the little sweet soul is on the spectrum. Having a child on spectrum, they communicate in this way because they don’t communicate freely with speech. Having family with certain disorders, I can tell you I have never ever seen her act appropriately around kids, especially special needs children. It's because she has no control over children. They're prone to emotional outbursts or even unexpected embarrassing behaviours. As a narcissist, Meg is following a script, a playbook in her mind. Thing's need to go a certain way for her to feel safe. Meg can't PREDICT the behaviour of children . She also can not attempt to boss, control, or force them to behave a certain way or say a certain thing. This scares the hell out of her. It's totally unscripted behaviour. Therefore, she has no preparation time to maintain her facade. She's worried about how to keep her image looking good for the camera when a child might suddenly do something crazy like yank off her wig. She has no faith or confidence in herself in terms of knowing how to react should such an unpredictable scenario occur. Because she is well aware that she'd totally lose it and smack the child down, exposing her true self, and as a narcissist, that's the death of her.

The little kid looks like he was being friendly, playful and curious, trying to get M's attention. All she had to do was interact with the child instead of being annoyed. Another example of her not being able to do royal duty type interaction with others, especially children.

Let me preface by saying I can't stand Migrain and also that I've never had a problem interacting with kids. However, This kid is not a baby. It's a big kid reaching out with its grubby nose picking hand to grab hair and face and the dad doesn't see a problem with it. Now we are aware that MeMe doesn't like kids or women and makes lots of mistakes but I think she handled it the best she could.

This is the one time I side with Meghan and Harry. People should not let their kids touch people like that. I don’t mean “how dare this child touch Meghan, or parents are bad parents if their kid touches someone.” But the man was out of line letting him touch her like that consistently without pulling him away and setting boundaries and then maybe saying to Meghan “little Sam wants to say hi” and letting the interaction start that way. And if this is how he communicates letting her know so that they interaction could be better (as better as it could be considering we are talking about Meghan here lol) for both of them. Even special needs children have to be taught boundaries, even if touching is a way of communicating, I’m sure he is still learning when and how to touch people and in the process of learning that now. My point is the kid is very cute and sweet but the gentleman holding him was in the wrong. Not everyone is a kid person and for those of us that prefer more space or just don’t like to be touched in general, our boundaries matter too. Princess Catherine would have handled this way better, but children are her passion and that’s her strength. We also don’t know how many times she had acknowledged the little guy and the man kept letting the kid come back for more. Which from her utter reluctance to acknowledge him I think was the case. Which I think is why I side with her more here.

The father should have had better manners than allowing his kid to be putting her hand all in someone’s face, especially a stranger. I remember Princess Kate had this situation but she was genuinely sweet to the child and the child reacted so well too. But for Meghan, she stopped and acknowledged the child only to make her stop. All the more the girl touched her wig and saw something which was odd, so being very young and curious she wanted to see what happened. But Meghan was already furious so she ignored her 😂😅
