Actually Chiquita(Chi-ki-ta) just recovered from Covid19 but she still performed very well and so good and she had very little time to practice cuz her throat is hurts a lot.

A lot of the new generation groups don't have assigned roles like main rapper, lead vocal, visual, etc.. We'll just have to see what Babymonster decides, but Ruka, who you put as main rapper will probably be main dancer/lead rapper because she is the best dancer in the group as well as a leader and the unnie. Asa will likely be main rapper/lead dancer because even though this performance doesn't reflect it as much, she is probably the better rapper and the second best dancer. As for vocals, it is hard to say, but I would put Haram or Rora as main and the other as lead. Ahyeon is the best all-rounder, great vocals, third best rapper and dancer. She also has that special "star power" quality and confidence and is a strong leader in the group. Chiquita is also an all-rounder with goid vocals, dancing, and developing rap skills. Like Ahyeon, she has that rizz that makes people notice her also, but as maknae she is still developing her confidence and skills the most of the group. Pharita would probably be the visual member, or maybe Haram as they have both worked as models and have a special look although all the girls serve visuals and vocal/rap skills in addition to being good dancers trained by Leejung Lee. They are going to be a dangerous group if YG doesn't fumble their debut

Dangerously and Pick up your feelingd are trending after they release ahyeon and haram episode. So yeah, the hype is been months and still trending in some areas.

What makes these young ladies more amazing is their ages at the time this was filmed. The first Singer, Pharita (Pah-ri-tah), is from Thailand, was 17. #2, Rora, (Roar-rah), is from Korea was 14. #3, Asa (Ah-Sah) from Japan was 16. #4 Chiquita, from Thailand was 13. #5, Ruka (roo-kah) from Japan was 20. Side note, both ASA and Ruka write their own rap verses. #6 Haram (ha-rum), from Korea, was 15. Last, #7 is Ahyeon (eye-yon), from Korea was 15. They've all had birthdays between this filming and today. As far as picking a fave (bias), I can't. It is like picking my favorite child. They all bring something unique and special to this group and I love them all equally.

To start with, don't worry like every other YG artist blackpink too have their contact till December (yes YG artists have contracts till December and not like other agency artist who have contracts till their debut date) so there's a lot of time till the actual expiration of contract (how do I know this? If you want to hear how the names are properly pronounced, you should watch the Introducing videos, as they say their own names and other people address them, so you can hear it directly. I would also go ahead and listen to all their "Live Performances" #1-#7, gives you some more feel for their skills. But here is a text guide of their names in order of appearance: 1) Pharita, throw out American English phonics, there is no F sound, start with the Pa sound of Paw and then just add Rita like the normal name pronunciation in English. 2) Rora, this is a stage name btw, it is a shortened name of Aurora, so just pronounce the English of Aurora, without the Au part. 3) Asa, Japanese, so there is no emphasis between syllables, "ah" and then "sa" as in saw sound. 4) Chiquita, just pronounce it like the Banana brand, and definitely no "Qwee" sound in it. 5) Ruka, well you already got it right in the video 6) Haram, this is harder to explain in text, but Ha, like in Hawk, and the ram is pronounced more like "ROM" like the computer term, or the first part of Mitt Romneys last name. Haram is Korean, so any other words that sound like it, it does not mean the same thing. Haram means "One sent from Heaven", so the Hangul version of "Angel" 7) Ahyeon, Ah + yawn is sort of acceptable, listen to video is better.

The girls of BabyMonster have been through a lot of pre-debut practices and just over all stress. That being said, their individual performances are awesome. Blackpink just announced their contract renewal. I hope, they are allowed to pursue individual efforts,too.
