Bobby went from singing the beautiful Unchained Melody to this upbeat and fun number. That's real talent.

Bobby, just the life and SOUL of the party as always. Wish we in the UK had seen more of their amazing live performances but they didn't get the attention they so deserved. Bobby lights up the stage and his moves were to die for, but in the 60's it was Bill's deep voice I associated with the RB's, didn't know what I was missing but I do now.

Andy Williams and his three brothers had a group. The name of the group was Williams Brothers. His brothers were Bob, Dick and Don. All four were excellent singers.

Bobby Hatfield it’s just so precious. What a wonderful sense of humor the way he can joke around and make everything seem like fun. As well as his amazing voice. He’s a true entertainer

So fab to see Bobby looking so relaxed and enjoying himself. I can never believe what Bill said about Bobby having paralysing stage fright, he always looks so relaxed when he's performing. Bobby, you earth-angel.

It is possible that he had stage fright, sometimes people cover things up very well. But I will say one thing Bobby Hatfield was an amazing performer, I loved The Righteous Brothers. They were the best blue eyed soul duo ever.

Andy was known as a crooner, and a very good one. Belting out a song was not his usual style, but you can see he could do it. And then there's Bobby. Sigh. Such a phenomenal singer.

Of course, Unchained Melody and Summertime by Bobby Hatfirled, and Loving feeling by Righteous Bros. AND Brown-eyed-girl by Bill Medley. Most radio stations dared not play it, as it was about interracial love, and the Loving Supreme Court case was reportedly in the news around that time.

Andy Williams was a very popular singer. He started performing with his brothers in the late 1930s and went solo in the 1950s. This style of singing was not his usual, though. His biggest hit was the ballad Moon River. The Righteous Brothers had a big catalog of recordings that never got airplay. Check out Nobody But You, Substitute, I (Who Have Nothing). Bobby's live solo of Summertime and Bill's solo of Brown Eyed Woman are also worth a look.

This is one of my favorites. Bobby's excitement in his dancing always brings laughter and happiness to me. He was definitely in his happy place while singing this song. Miss you Bobby.

Bobby didn’t just shock the extremely talented Andy Williams, he shocked his partner Bill Medley as well But if you thought Bobby was wailing in this video, check him out singing solo on “Summertime.” Here’s the link: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/o86drcSm3pOtg3U.html

I watched this live on the Andy Williams show with folks, this is the show Bobby sang Unchained Melody solo.. I was 16 years old and still have all their albums. Bill Medley is 6'4" and in the show Andy says how Bill intimidated him.. Jokingly of course.

@@rubydazzler The Righteous Brothers performed three numbers in a row on The Andy Williams Show, which can be seen by the beginnings and endings overlapping one another in the videos, which are all available now on KZfaq: "Look At Me", "Unchained Melody", and "What'd I Say". Bobby Hatfield expressed his exhilaration in the last number after having given what was to become known as the epic iconic performance of a lifetime with "Unchained Melody". He "knew" it, but I wish that he could know it for a fact that he is finally fully appreciated. 🙏

One of the music reactions videos that I watched was, ‘You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling’ and it praised their voices but said that they were as stiff as boards in movement but to me it was choreographed and planned out for effect. The way that Bobby moves and sings in this performance is unbelievable, his vocal talent reminds me too of James Brown. For once a white guy really could be considered and compared to the immensely talented and soulful voices that black artists are born with. I love all souls but there are not many white people who have such an amazing voice as black people have, they are just born with the talent. I really hope that doesn’t sound racist, I love all people but black people really do have a gift when it comes to singing.

I've never seen you before but I like your accent is that bad to say accent you can't say anything anymore without getting in trouble but I guess if you like it it's okay. I agree with you the Righteous Brothers are the best and that Bobby Hatfield the little short one but he's not that little bit beside his partner there it's quite tall he looks short you have to hear him sing Summertime and Unchained Melody I was a young girl watching them cuz I'm 89 years old and I was in my twenties then and so was Bill Medley.🥳🤩🎇

You're right that Bobby Hatfield wasn't that little. He was 5'8", but shorter than Bill Medley who was over 6 feet tall. I'm 74 and am impressed that you are expressing yourself here on KZfaq. 🙂

Andy Williams is mostly a crooner. So when he came in with that rough voice it was a joke. The audience thought is was hilarious so that’s why they’re clapping.
