I think there could have been a little jealousy bubbling to the surface over V becoming closer to another group of friends (the birth of the Wooga squad). Kind of like seeing your best friend since birth running around with a different clique in high school. Maybe something Jimin couldn't acknowledge to himself yet at the time or even recognize. In another video, some of the members were jokingly giving V a hard time about him being verbally affectionate to his Wooga squad. So Jimin didn't care that Taehyung was already tired and hungry and had been working all day. V had a hard time filming Hwarang. In one documentary (I forgot which), he talks about keeping the pressure all to himself until he couldn't anymore, and it was to Jimin that he broke down. So in the end, they still reaffirmed what they are to each other. "I want to be a support to you and give you energy."

Soulmates I miss them so much, they quarreled because Taehyung was acting in a drama all day and never ate or rested. When he finished filming the drama, he went to the company to train with the members and wanted to eat a little, but Jimin refused and did not allow him and wanted to eat together after finishing rehearsals. Perhaps he did not know that Taehyung was really tired. Very, he did not eat anything all day and needed a little to eat to have energy and be able to train with them well. Then Jimin knew how Taehyung was feeling and made this song for him, and Taehyung made a song for him too.

Fun Fact: the dreamcatcher that Tae mentions in the song is an actual gift that Jimin gave him... Tae was having a lot of nightmares and couldnt sleep so when Jimin got to knw abt it, he bought a dreamcatcher as a gift to ease Tae nd till this day i believe he still has it in his room!!! Also Tae had a diff type of way of speaking which is kind of hard to explain but everyone used to say that it was Tae's "alien language".. hence jimin saying in the song, "Hello my alien"!! 💜💜💜💜💜

There are actually 2 songs that was created from the Dumpling Incident. Friends which JImin wrote and 4 O Clock which V wrote because he was worried when Jimin did not come home after the fight. They used to meet at the park at 4am I think. Because of their fight, Jimin got drunk with Suga. I love that song. He got RM to sing in that song. V & Jimin are proclaimed soulmates. I’m pretty sure Jimin co-produced this one and it’s so special, just like the bond between Jimin and V. It was also featured in the Marvel movie Eternals. There’s so much to talk abt when it comes to their friendship. The fight over dumplings happened a long time ago (this song is more recent), when they were all still first getting to know each other. When they fought I’m pretty sure they didn’t speak to each other for 2 days, but made up and become the closest friends in the group. V was one of the members who really fought for Jimin to join BTS, Jimin was the last member to be added and he had the shortest training period at BigHit, he was almost cut several times and didn’t think he would make the cut to be able to debut (part of the reason he’s so hard on himself and was always the last to leave the practice room). When someone from the company asked V what he thought of Jimin joining the team during a meeting, V said Jimin was a friend who was always there for him for his ups and downs and would be really happy to debut with a friend like that. V and Jimin used to go to the same school and because they were born in the same year (95 line) they were in the same class. Jimin was from busan so a lot of ppl in his class would make fun of his accent but V always defended him. They would take the bus together like they mention in this song and the set for this performance is a recreation of their bus stop. They basically spent the entire day together, either in school or training at BigHit. When they graduated they also released a song together called 95 graduation which is basically their continuation of a song BTS had unofficially released called “Graduation song” in which they change the lyrics of the song “Young, wild and free”. They also sang this “graduation song” to Jin when he graduated college, Jin couldn’t attend his ceremony bc of an award show so the members did a live together to congratulate him T_T Oh and pinky thing is really funny bc V has the longest pinky out of the members and Jimin the shortest, so they tease him a lot bc of that hahahaha. 💜

ugh i love vmin. theyre friendship is so precious. and so many references in this song. one of them is the dreamcatcher that jimin got tae to protect him from bad dreams cuz tae was having nightmares 😊also first time i saw lix's pinky, i was like hes like jimin lol. also i have to mention, tae probably has one of the most beautiful hands everrr lol. Jimin and lix, they do remind me of each other in the way of being bright sunshine and very affectionate and cute.

The dumpling incident that had almost nothing to do with dumplings and, you're right, it needed to happen for them to get this close. Their friendship is just so lovely. They are complete opposites and apparently bicker all the time. That being said, they are the first to compliment each other and they look at each other with such fondness and have entire conversations with no words. The entire song is filled with moments from their friendship. Tae's little "Hey Jimin..." was from them recording. Due to their schedules, they had to record separately and would apparently leave each other messages. Idk if it was PDogg or Jimin who decided to leave one in (I suspect PDogg). To me, the ending of this is a perfect example of how different they are - Jimin would NEVER break the rules, meanwhile Tae apparently improv-ed that bit at the end. But then Jimin went along with him, of course.

The dumpling incident (vmin) and the rain incident (jikook) really are some for the books. But what makes The Dumpling Incident so iconic is that it resulted in two VERY precious songs. V wrote 4 o' clock (2018) and Jimin wrote Friends (2020). Contrary to what solo stans will tell you, neither side was "wrong". Tae was tired and hungry, but Jimin wanted them to wait because the others (mostly older members) hadnt eaten yet. Another thing we know abt the time is that because Tae was filming for Hwarang, and made some new, really great friends (Park Seo Joon and Park Hyung Sik, who are now members of the Wooga Squad with Tae). So it's possible that Jimin (who was REALLY close to Tae) might've felt like they were becoming distant, and that possibly contributed to the situation. What we also know is that some days had passed and the two still didnt make up. So Yoongi took Jimin for drinks, and i think Tae went for drinks with Joon. Then they both met up in the park at 4am (hence the song 4 'o' Clock) ...where a drunk jimin was like "you cant do this to me, Taehyungah!!!" And Tae was totally NOT recording drunk-Jimin's heartbroken ramblings 😂😂😂 (he absolutely was). It's amazing how close they are now. I've seen a lot of "soulmates" in kpop, but nothing like these two. They're like emotionally BONDED. Theyre both SO different. But literally complete each other.

These two are partners in crime. When they were teenagers (i guess even now), they always annoy the other members. They are a (adorable) mess and such a menace and they always tag along the youngest, Jk. There are two songs born out of the dumpling incident: "4 O'clock" written by V while waiting for Jimin at the park at 4am. Jimin came in drunk after a drinking session with Suga. V thought the scene was so hilarious so he filmed drunk Jimin while crawling on the ground. They reconciled eventually but V kept the video as a memento lol. The other song was made years later which is this song "Friends" written by Jimin to celebrate their friendship.

V at that time was filming the TV Drama Hwarang Which is a historical TV program kind of like a mini series in the US based on a story that is legend/history and would be kind of like Korea's version of King Arthur and the Knights of the round table. So V had to go shoot fight scenes in the morning and then go to the Big Hit building and rehearse with BTS after that So the other guys might have been able to eat while V was filming and V was really working two jobs very hard and wanting to succeed with all of them, so he wanted to eat a little and start with the members vigorously and energetically, but Jimin did not care and did not know the difficulty of the work that V was doing, and the funny fact is that Jimin is the last member who always arrives at the exercises, and all the members said that 😄💜 and we got a very beautiful song
