Glad to listen to Mace go on about tests. His been there and describes to us the emotion behind test footy, this by far is my favorite episode. Keep up the good content lads and I love the international idea for Eng vs NZ to play while origin is on.

I'm 💯 Harty kiwi supporter YTB awesome win but I think Australia are getting little bit disrespected like they been winning for ages I can't remember the last time we beat them now that's the consistent footy we need before we start taking surely

28:27 I follow Australia….league, union, cricket….any sport. Honestly though, New Zealand wanted that win so much more, and it showed. They deserved to win. 1:00:28 I commented that format for international matches, during an earlier show the boys did on here. Scope must have read my comment 🙈🙈🙈🙈. Mighty fine idea, in my humble opinion 🤭🤭🤭🤭 Great final podcast, guys. Enjoyed it. Have a much needed rest and see you in 2024.

Interesting to think that Reece Walsh, Kalyn Ponga and Jahrome Luai were all approached to play for the Kiwis as well due to their parents. Kiwis have always had a brutal forward pack but didn't quite have the backs to match. Our backs are now up with the elites of the game.

Hey Justin Horo n Wiremu Mason . Just a shout out to Willie in reference to how highly you speak of the late Steve Folkes . He was the leader of men and an amazing bloke. I have a little story of how fit he was his son was playing little league baseball for Bankstown Sports and would run from home Chipping Norton with his dog to Georges Hall not really puffed at all say hello to every one watch the game cheer his boy then run home . probably a 20km round trip before midday . His wife, also an amazing person, was such a lovely woman and would train our school in a fitness program every Wednesday. Also passed. Talk about life not being fair Keep up the podcast. Love your work, Mike Jones

The best thing about a 5 week break mid year would be to refresh some bodies mid year. Imagine someone with one of those annoying, niggly injuries that can't heal because of the week on week grind, like Campbell Graham, and give them a 5 week block of no contact to heal up

Fantastic podcast, I'm a little late to the party only started watching a few months ago, always missing the bus. Wiremu, your not just a pretty face, your giving bookends a bad name being too articulate will have to suspend your front row license. Justin and Mase the perfect fit, what I do know your podcast is inciteful respectful and knowledgeable may it continue. Have a great festive season and stay safe, until next year Ka Kite.

Cheers for the content lads. Seems nrl only care about origin and not international footy. They preach growing the game yet they don’t care. With everyone moaning about their draws now why not play everyone once and then have international comps/tours at end of year. Still getting mid 20-30 games a year plus you can put origin in there somewhere.

Dawgs of the year, bunch of Dawgs probably all the Dally M Team. Pretty good year, especially if your a Pahs, Wahs, Bronx and Knights fan. Dally Ms are too fkn long, Origin was emaculate. Up the Kiwis. All of us were surprised and it saved the economy 😂😂 pacific Nations cup is a great initiative but the players really need a rest. Alright for Aus with all that depth and the Refs. Good bad and the fkn ugly calls 😂 looking forward to 2024. Up the levels😎💯🔥

As a Kiwi it’s rare to get 2 wins in a row against the Kangaroos, my thought was okay we lose the first meeting but let’s figure something out and in the final go all guns blazing. Kiwis just kept the defensive line speed in the middle and exposed certain players that were playing out of position

I'm not quite prepared to say the kiwis are better than Aussie just yet. Cleary, Murray, Walsh and Latrell make a big difference to that team. Not that I think they would have beat the kiwis on that day because the kiwis were just possessed, probably would've been closer though..having said that, nz were also missing arguably the best player in the comp in SJ, their two first choice hookers, Harris who's a top 3 lock, and as good as Thompson ans Neame were, the big dog JWH would have been in that 17 somewhere. A whole host of top backrowers were injured like Niukore, Riki, Sorenson as well, all of whom had a better Season than Papali'i..damn, maybe the kiwis are just better lol 🤔

Mitch Kenny top 5 hooker? Mase is way off on this one. Grant, Api, Cook, Robson, JMK, Brailey, Egan all better hookers. Kenny bangs in defence and plays his role well in a Penrith side where a lot is based around Cleary and to a lesser extent Yeo, but if Kenny was in a different system - he’s not ousting any of those guys for their positions.
