As a Dragons fan there is absolutely nothing wrong with Jayden Campbells try. His leg/foot made contact with the ball before it hit the ground or contacted another player then sweet. Play on. Where the dilemma arises is when players do the same thing where they lose the ball and it's dropping down Infront of them and their leg does not make contact with the ball before it hits the ground but alas they then "drop kick" the ball without going for a field goal. Billy Slater and Benji got away with it when they shouldn't have. Because if your not going for a fucking field goal then why in the fuck would you be attempting one

Do you think the NRL should adopt a MLB style HOF ballot? After you qualify you have 10 attempts for a unanimous vote to enter. There is separate boards for historic, country and off field contributors to induct 1 or 2 each time also

Hey boys would love to get big willies opinion. I feel like if the Dogs do go on to win the comp this year i feel like josh jackson deserves it as much as the boys playing now because he showed up week after week and went harder then any young pup when the dogs were going thru those shocking years and then when things started rebuilding properly he bowed out to free up at top 30 spot and make Gus and Ciraldos job easier. As a fan would love to see him get some sort of recognition if they go all the way

Lads on the back of that blocker controversy, if you don’t remember perhaps lukey can bring it up quickly for you but the tom burgess try to win souths the game against the tigers back in 21 is the perfect example of why the so called “blocker” is really a lead or option. Does this wording/rule just need scrapping entirely or how can it be fixed so these fuck ups don’t happen anymore?

Chur boys love the podcasts keep up the solid work. I just wanted to say as fans of rugbly league as a whole and not just the teams we support i think i speak for us all when i say the inconsistency with the refs calls and bunkers calls are insane. One team slightly hits someone high it's 10 in the bin other teams it's only a penalty. The inconsistency from the refs week to week is just not good enough. It's fine if they want to be strict then be strict if you're gonna send someone off for "careless high tackle then do it but then keep doing it for every other careless high tackle aswel, don't give leniency to some teams and then penalise other teams for making the exact same tackle. It's becoming a serious problem within the nrl and nothing is being done.

🤙🏽 Question for the poddy; what are your thoughts on reducing the amount of games/season? 27 weeks of regular season feels too long. We only have 52 weeks in the year, players are getting injured far too often and when I compare it to the NFL, they play 16 games with 1 bye round. And UFC fighters take months off between fights. These last few weeks some of the teams looked burnt out.

Fumbling into a kick is a great bit of skill and chance that can go either way and leaves a tiny bit of chance and contest in the game. Getting rid of harmless rules like that is like getting the NFL fun police to run the game

The immortal discussion is getting so repetitive. Every time this conversation comes up, it's not even a debate, everyone argues in agreement that the OG's should be inducted and then we can have a more exciting conversation about the modern players being inducted. It's mathematically impossible to induct the OG's and modern players simultaneously, we either fix it or this conversation will be the same for eternity!

SUPER IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR THE LADS: After I messaged Levels for recommendations when we fly over from Sydney for the Dogs vs Wahs game, I reached out to Benny G from Lilyworld (pub next to stadium) who messaged you with an invite. I spoke to him on the phone, the bloke is a legend and he is organising a "Levels Dawgs" table from 4:00pm Friday and Im shouting a few jugs for any dawgs sniffing around for a coldie. P.S It's Fuck Queensland still. UP THE DOGS

Great show boys. I have an idea to solve the Immortal selection process. Put any deserving contributors in the Hall of Fame. Elevate elite players only to a new Hall of Legends. Then promote a very select few from legendary status to Immortality. This will satisfy and cater to a whole bunch of great players who will never be Immortals. Stewy, Cowboys tragic

Boys, wild thought here. Remember the glory days of fatty running from mid wicket to take the diving catch or Joey pumping domestic bowlers over short cover. How about we look at getting a Levels V Hello Sport charity big bash game going? I’d pay big money to see OG coming off the big run up. Or see Hoz walk down the wicket swing for the hills and keep walking once the stumps shatter. Just a thought lads.

2 part Question for this Sharks fan fellas, everyone is off us at the moment. Do you think the criticism in us being up the top of the table is unfair given our lack of halves this year? Newcastle had the halves but couldn’t decide on one. Also, Will Kennedy seems to be quiet this year (nice try save on the w/e) do you think potentially the lack of competition ala Connor Tracey et all has got him comfortable? He doesn’t seem to be breaking games open this year. Peace Matt

Boyd induction is taking the absolute piss. Brohman was form prop during that period and that gutless act cost him a kangaroos Guernsey. If they were short of a psycho entertaining enforcer to include that wasn't a coward adrian morley & mark o'meley come to mind. Dally M doesnt really capture the efforts of what front rowers do outsfe of stats and the HOF was the platform to recognise the hardmen which has now been watered down with Boyd's recent inclusion.

Hey Fellas! Really love the podcasts, Never really listened to a podcast until i came across the levels podcast, now i am hanging out every Monday & Thursday waiting for the poddy to start. Die hard dogs fan, love listening to Willys thoughts about the dogs every game this year being a bulldog and in and around the training. I have a question about the golf day at the coast, will the event be open to public? like are tickets available to purchase to attend? Thanks guys!

Scope/mase I think the NRL is missing out on a massive opportunity by not broadcasting the HOF/immortal concept. They could easily make it a week long event where each day they announce a HOFer/immortal and have a mini documentary about the player they announced. One thing the NRL does poorly is not celebrate things like this properly.

Boys, absolutely love the podcast and and look forward to both of your takes every week. However, really disappointed with the storm coverage this podcast. After our boys won such a huge match and bet the panthers for a second time this regular reason all the media talked about was Cleary’s injury and really didn’t analyse the storm at all, and besides Nelson’s colateral you’ve done the same! Super frustrating when us Storm fans want to hear respected names break down our teams performance, specific players efforts and takes on moments in the game. Like Anderson getting hit high with no sin bin Lots of love x
