I watch this with you and wanted to tell you about my first dog Toby the Airedale Terrier. He lived to 12 and one day something happened in his spine. He lost his back legs. They did everything they could. When the time came the vet told me that he made a place for us. He closed early and told everyone they could go. Several stayed with me. When they put that needle in his leg they could audibly hear me from 4 businesses away. There are no words for what I experienced that day. Not many understand the relationship between some people and their dogs. I didn’t leave the house for two weeks. For 12 years there was not a me without him, every day. The happiest I’ve ever been was with my two Airedales. They were so special. Toby and Abby

The dog that the video is referring too is real, his name is Grey Friars Bobby. He lived in Edinburgh (That’s where I am from) and after his owner died Bobby visited his grave everyday until his eventual death. After his owners death the people of Edinburgh took care of him. There is a statue of him and a graveyard named after him in Edinburgh aswell.

This video is such a great retelling of the Greyfriars Bobby story. If you’re not from Scotland look it up. The dog, Bobby, lived in Edinburgh with his owner, and after the owner died he visited his grave everyday. The folks in the city adopted & took care of him.
