YES TO MORE MAMAMOO CONTENTS 😭🙏✨ These girls literally performed on the streets in their early years just to promote themselves since their company is poor and seeing them successful now is so amazing and I'm proud of them for reaching this far. They are literally a SELF-MADE group.

Many moomoos can't pick a bias and are OT4. I wouldn't worry about it because your bias may change with every song and imo your bias will eventually choose you. At first I figured Hwasa would be my bias because I love jazz and her sultry voice is perfect for it. I didn't like Solar at first cuz she was so goofy and seemed like a total airhead but as I watched their performances on Immortal Songs Solar was the one who kept making me cry so she became my surprise bias. As I got to know Solar better I realized she has many different facets to her personality and a lot more under her mental hood than I initially gave her credit for. Moo YT didn't mention the meaning of Solarsido (Solar's yt channel). Sido means try or attempt and one of the main things Solar does on her channel is to challenge herself by trying new things ranging from skydiving to boxing and surfing to surviving on a desert island to earning a license to drive trucks. One of the vids I'd highly recommend on Solarsido is the double pole dance for her solo song Hello. She and her pole dance teacher choreographed a partner pole dance set to Hello and since there's no MV for the song it's the next best option. It's a stunning piece that turns the song into kinetic sculpture. The scene from Idol Drama Operation Team (aka IDOT) where Moonbyul is told she has to be MMM"s rapper or leave the group is a recreation of what really happened,, tho it was probably exaggerated for dramatic effect. IDOT was a tv series featuring a bunch of female idols including Moonbyul. I think IDOT is where Moonbyul and Red Velvet's Seulgi started to become close friends. Seulgi later featured on Moonbyul's solo song Selfish, which is on the Red Moon album. Wheein is pronounced Whee + In. As moomoos like to say, Once you Wheein you can't Whee-out! Moo YT began each member's section with snippets of some of their solo songs she but didn't mention that each member has a successful solo career on the side. When Solar finally made her official solo debut in 2020 Mamamoo became the first group to have all members chart on Billboard as solo artists while the group was still active as a unit. Besides their solo singles and albums they've also done a bunch of solo and group OST songs for films and kdramas, the members are in high demand for features and collabs with other artists, and they make regular appearances on radio & tv as hosts and guests along with running their own yt channels. To give you an idea of how busy they are (and have been since their debut) in 2022 MMM released and/or performed over 50 new songs and covers - group, solo, subunit, OSTs, features, collabs and live performances - and Solar made her critically acclaimed musical theatre debut playing the lead in Mata Hari for a 3 month run. And they finished off 2022 by launching their first world tour. RBW has been a good artistic home for Mamamoo but it's a company with a number of faults and problems so it's both a blessing and a curse. RBW was a tiny startup when MMM was the first group to debut under the agency but it's now much larger and it's fair to say RBW is the house Mamamoo built. On the back of MMM's success RBW has debuted more groups, acquired other companies and built their own 10+ story building in Seoul with rehearsal and recording studios and a cafe. They've made specific mistakes with MMM that have hurt their career and damaged their reputation but imo the main ongoing problem with RBW is that they suck at promoting their artists, none of whom have achieved the popularity and commercial success their talent deserves. In the case of MMM despite Hip being a massive hit on their best selling album "reality in BLACK" the album sold less than 300K and the ten albums that preceded reality in BLACK sold less than 100K. It's not that MMM is unsuccessful but those numbers pale in comparison to the millions of albums sold by the most popular groups and even first albums by rookie groups under the Big 3 agencies. The excuse that RBW was a small agency when MMM debuted doesn't hold water with me because that certainly didn't stop Big Hit from helping BTS become the biggest boy group in the world and I would argue that Mamamoo is also a world class group who shares many similarities with BTS. RBW claims to be a global company but they often delay or fail to provide subtitles for Mamamoo's videos and over 8 years after their debut Mamamoo only recently started their first world tour. At this point in the tour they've only performed in Asia and a few Pacific islands and RBW has not announced dates and locations for the rest of the tour, an indication that more concerts will be sporadic and few in number, assuming they add more dates.

Wheein's charm reaches its peak in mamamootv. My favorite was Moonbyul, but Wheein stole my heart...

Moonbyul is a genuis. EVERYBODY LOVES Moon. She is the mood and the hype of the group. She is both undeniable and inescapable. Solar is the muscle. She brings headstrong weirdness to everything. Wheein is a secret weapon. She casually does THE MOST AMAZING feminine things anyone could ever. Amazing dancer, amazing singer, brilliant artist. Hwasa is another secret weapon. She really can do anything. One of the most excitingly gorgeous people walking the earth right now. She may be THE most stunning woman you will ever see. They all have a goofy sense of humor along with the no filters attitudes,... they just fuel each others chaotic energy. They are impressive in a hundred different directions all at once.

A lot of people are ot4 it's pretty common when you know them their individualism is what really make them unique and so cool

My Mamamoo bias changes with whoever is on the screen. Hwasa brought me to Mamamoo, Solar is the reason I stayed, and Wheein and Moonbyul won my heart. I'm OT4 because all 4 girls are so so special.

Album recomendations: There are actually only two full albums Melting and Reality in Black. So those are longer and it really depends on whether you want more of their original sound or their more recent sound. Among the mini albums, once again you can't go wrong, I think my favorite is Blue;s. If you are interested in even moe info you may want to watch the older Purple Hawk guide that this one credits at the beginning of part 1. Mamamoo are at their best live, and they live for being in front of people, whether it's busking in the street (early on) or at huge concert. Corona was terrible for them. In the documentary Moonbyul metions that it just wasn't fun anymore. Being back in front of live audiences as of a few months ago has really made them happy.

Yeah, I feel so proud of them as always. For me, it’s been already more than 7 years since I fell in love with them. My first impression was so strong /49:59 was my first stage and song from them/. Through these years I can’t choose one because they’re all my ultimate biases and super-talented soloists too. They’ve every genre of song /+400 songs, collaboration, solo songs, OST/. Moonbyul's performance of Refuge in the Second World Competition is amazing. :) MMMTV has multiple seasons. It's a lot of BTS stuff from MV shoots and performances. It's fun. Even more fun if you can watch it with sub titles. :D

They've even hosted their own shows that inevitably end with them tearing down the walls and destroying everything around them. Their wild out of control energy seems to feed off of each other.

thank u for reacting! omg I love this reaction so much, I had a lot of fun and felt like I fell in love with mamamoo once more with u, I know I will return to rewatch from time to time ot4 is so understandable at first I was potentially hwasa biased then I got to know them and went ot4 and was not even trying to pick a bias but eventually wheein stole my heart (but solar at some point really wrecked me and I it's only moonbyul who left to wreck me) love all the girls so much these girls are so real like not pretending or anything I feel their genuineness behind everything they do

This is the reason why I don't follow any groups aside from Mamamamoo. It's because A) Mamamoo raised the bar so high for me, talent, personality & overall-group chemistry-wise ; and B) Stanning mamamoo is like following 5 artists. Their solo works are unique and different from their group music. In 2022 alone, Mamamoo was able to release on average of a song per week (solo, group, collabs). And this is just music, they are also active in variety, youtube and other non-music related projects.

Totally get your position on position. Seems kinda unnecessary in most groups, especially when they don't really show it. Like in Billlie, they all can dance, but Tsuki as the main dancer actually gets her time to shine during the dance breaks in all their title track except Ring Ma Bell, but their she is center enough when all sing. Also visual is the most stupid position of them all, doesn't matter which sex or gender the members are. It's just rude and superficial. I don't follow Mamamoo much musicwise though I like some songs and would totally go to a concert because they seem to be such great performers. I respect these four women very, very much. I think this industry needs much more people like them.

Very entertaining reaction. In re: soulmates, you are more right than you probably suspect, because Solar and Moonbyul are (most likely) a couple. Though nothing is confirmed, the two are inseparable, going everywhere together and doing everything together. A friend of mine once told me that if you cross state lines (country lines) with another person, sex is involved. Solar and Moonbyul have made at least three and probably four trips to other countries now. Two of those were under the auspices of the TV show Battle Trip, but one was to Vietnam just by themselves, and another was to Japan. Half or more of Solar's videos on Solarsido have Moonbyul in them, and one of Moonbyul's first videos has Solar in it. The trip to the deserted island on Solarsido highlighted just how close they are. I don't care how close you and your friend are, you don't sleep with your butts touching. That's intimate.

Just a small addition, the 4 seasons project began with Paint Me, not Starry Night. Well I guess it depends on who you ask. But Paint Me is an incredible song as well. It is the prelude to the 4 seasons project, which many consider to be the height of their career. Along with HIP, which was the peak. I think all Moos deeply wonder what could have been had covid not derailed their momentum.
