All of them classified as 1st and were: -France for Euro 2000 -Greece for Euro 2004 -Portugal for Euro 2016 -Italy for Euro 2020 The two times that this did not happen was in Euro 2008/2012 that Spain won. In both groups Spain faced Liechtenstein. But for this Euro, Spain is not in the same group as Liechtenstein. What if Croatia gets 1st place? Also, if Denmark beats San Marino, Slovenia beats Northern Ireland, and Kazakhstan-Finland ends in a draw (I don't think any of these results are unlikely), the top 4 teams of Group H will all have the same amount of points at the halfway point. I'm Polish, and what we played against Moldova is just embarassing. It is not even Santos fault, cause we won match against Germany few days before that and we actually played good (Szczęsny MVP of that match), but man, first half against Moldova, Milik and Lewy with goals, easy win right? They played horrible in that second half. Every player. I'm not even sad, I just feel embarrassment. Jan Bednarek, our CB said, that after first half they were thinking about hollidays. Unacceptable. As a Slovene... I am very concerned with this reality check that hit us in the face, especially in the match against Finland. Idk what the coach was thinking putting Belec in instead of Vidovšek against Finland but it sure showed us that the first two wins weren't the start of Slovenia magically qualifying.
