It’s really annoying how Percabeth shippers attack other ships involving Percy or Annabeth with other people. Like they get it, it’s canon, and they are not denying Percabeth being canon. They just like exploring the idea of Percy’s or Annabeth’s dynamics with other people. Also, we need more sons of Aphrodite, since boys should be allowed to have feminine traits (loving to everyone, fashion, beauty, etc.), without having to denounce their masculinity. Plus: As a gray ace, we need more ace representation, adding to the “single pringles” section.

I agree with the first one the most. I've just reread Heroes of Olympus and for me, there were never that many friendship moments between Jason and Percy? I expected so much more when I heard people talking about it. I would have liked more Percy/Grover, Percy/Frank, Jason/Leo or Jason/Annabeth friendship moments in the second series, since they have a lot of potential in my opinion.

Okay, idk if this is an unpopular opinion or a theory, but it is about Clarisse and Silena. I’m sure we all know the parallels between them and Achilles and Patroclus and how they would have made a perfect couple. BUT! What if Achilles and Patroclus choose rebirth and they were reborn as Clarisee and Patroclus. I know there are a lot of missing factors in this but I think this would have been really cool and even if this didn’t happen Clarisee needed to be a lesbian and Silena needed too be bi. Imagine a strong lesbian daughter of Ares and the daughter of Aphrodite being LGBTQ+! Rick was holding back too much on them!

Sorry if this sounds rude or mean or something, but I think Annabeth and Leo are both really good at sciencey things, because in TLT, we see Annabeth has mastered physics and can do it in like, 5 seconds, because of the jump off of the Thrill O Love ride, and in The Bronze Dragon, she fixes Festus without any training. Also, she makes a bunch of automatons and can control them, can land a helicopter (also no training), and besides, architects must be really good at structural engineering. What makes Annabeth's sciencey intelligence so cool is that it's not from Athena. It's things that Annabeth taught herself or got from her MORTAL father. (Side opinion, Annabeth acts like Fredrick MUCH more than she acts like Athena.) I feel like people undermine Annabeth's achievements, or ignore them, or make her out to be worse than she actually is. (*Cough* Anti Annabeth Tumblr *cough*) So yup, my weird rant thing. I do think clarisse having her relationship was good, because it showed that she was a very tough and sparky character, but can be sweet and kind to the people she is close with and loves.

I think Calypso is a perfect match for Leo relationship wise but c'mon Calypso went through so much change to be that way in just a few years, you can say it's because Percy broke her heart but a hundred other guys had done that before, "but Percy said he'd get her off the island" so did a bunch of other guys! I get she somehow knew that the Gods went back on their promise to free her, but who could've told her that? It's not there. The most interactions between them is them poking fun at each other. That's not a bromance, that's a rivalry between two people who barely know each other. Let's be honest: the only Greek god that is good (if you can even measure the morality of the gods by that metric) is likely Hades. One of the few questionable things that he does is kidnap Persephone to marry her, and even then, many interpretations of the story posit that Persephone was at least willing to stay married to him (even if some interpretations still maintain the kidnapping aspect). Other than that, most of his actions are strict but fair. At least that's what I think. If I'm wrong about something, let me know.

I'm in ToA's first book, so maybe I'm writing something misplaced. My unpopular opinion (I don't know if it's really unpopular) is that Nico is fine without a boyfriend, and if Rick Riordan wants to give him a boyfriend, the one is not Will Solace, I think Connor Stoll is better for this role, but I'm still thinking that Nico is fine single. Remember that he is like 12 years old (Or 14 or 15, this is another problem with Nico) and he has a lot of traumas and is not in the best psychological moment.

Don't read this if you haven't read the Trials of Apollo! I agree that not everyone in the seven should be dating someone, but I think Piper and Hazel should have ended up together at some point. They hung out so much when Annabeth was missing and put so much trust in each other that it shows a real connection between them. I think Hazel and Frank are cute together, though I personally don't really like Piper and Jason together (even after what happens to Jason - sorry if that was a spoiler alert to readers). And when we find out that Piper is bisexual (or pansexual) at the end of the Trials of Apollo, I couldn't help but wonder if Hazel was a sort of "stepping stone" for her to come out, even if she and Hazel were never together. Also, I strongly agree with the "Poseidon Sucks" opinion. I kind of like Rick Riordan's calmish, laid-back version of Poseidon🔱, but he and Zeus🌩 were horrible in real Greek mythology, which is why Zeus is my least favorite Greek god (Hades💀 is the best!).

The thing ab Hades and Ares is since they're gods of "bad things", like war and the underworld, people automatically thing they're bad when some of the worse things that Hades has done that I can think of cheating three or four times, which is nothing compared to Poseidon and Zeus and kidnap his wife, but he never really had any social interactions and Zeus literally told him to do it...

About the Poseidon vs Ares thing.... With how wars change and how the gods moved to America, it makes sense for Ares to slowly become this...literal asshole who loves guns and claims it's the best country since Sparta. Poseidon in modern day would definitely be more chill, he seems to be the only god who had a positive development. Sure, he's still a deadbeat like the rest of them but those are just the Ancient Laws. Like, they establish that it's canon in the PJO mythology that a son of Poseidon assaulted a daughter of Ares and that Ares killed his son. Poseidon in PJO doesn't really defend his evil children anymore, he just doesn't have the heart to end any of them.
