7:00 that would be Mithzan and there are a number of reasons for that rule. baseline game from what I've heard pulling the apparatus makes more enemies spawn. Mithzan and his group also play with a lot of mods such as FacilityMeltdown which puts a timer until everything blows up meaning if it is pulled first you have no time to search for loot. I forget if it is tied to that mod or another one but one mod I've seen them use in videos also causes 5 monsters to spawn immediately after the apparatus is pulled

Oh just to say, the song you can hear in the background of some of those memes is Paranoia by Kentenshi. It's a remix of Young Girl A by Siinamota, a sad song about losing hope and your sense of self made by an artist who is suspected of having killed themselves. I highly recommend listening to both of them, they're incredible songs.
