I tried to reply. I love what you’re doing, truly. My sister is gay (and she did know young that she was diff from her boy crazy big sis), but she didn’t vocalize it for many years, she knew we just accepted her however! Trans is to me diff territory. You have trans folks that haven’t started to medically transition, or are partially transitioned, and I feel like as long as they’re straightforward with their possible sexual partners, none of that matters, and it’s not my business. If you’re going to be with someone that hasn’t transitioned fully and you’re a man playing with penis? You need to have a long think about your own sexuality. I’ve never seen a man dance around admitting homosexuality/bisexuality so badly. Ok I hope I made sense and didn’t piss anyone off, and just talk quick we don’t use dildos for ring toss. Wtf man

We play the same games with my four year old grandson. Sometimes he's Spiderman, sometimes he's invisible. He likes to pretend he's a truck, an astronaut, or a racecar driver. But he will also play Barbies with his sisters for hours. Let them expand their imagination to the greatest distances as possible, instead of limiting or influencing what they can dream. Then instead of growing up confused, with a dreadfully short attention span, thanks to social media, tablets and other electronics. They'll be able to reason and think well enough to possibly get us out of the mess we're in now?

He looked to be like a typical Body-Builder type and looked as masculine as ever. No indication of being flamboyant, just acting like a normal dude. But he was a kind and understanding guy. I didn’t even realize he was Gay until when I went to the shop counter and saw two Pride Flags just subtly hung on the side of the wall. Then afterwards I was told by another family member who also shops there, that he was Gay. I went. “…Huh. Didn’t know that. Cool.”

No one thinks about the tom boys anymore. Now people want to assume that if a female has masculine interests or tastes she must be lesbian or trans. Years ago the goal was to break down the stereotypes of males and females - girls don't have to wear pink and boys can play with Barbie - but recently it has felt like those gender stereotypes are being reinforced and if you're not masculine or feminine enough then there must be something wrong with you.

Gender and sexual identity are NOT the same. For example, you can be aromantic and not be attracted to anyone, but can still identify as genderfluid as genderfluidity means that your gender identity fluctuates, which can range from often to rare. Also, it's is NOT changing your sex, that is biological as there is male, female, and intersex, nothing else. I know this because I've done my research on the subject. So no, I'm afraid being genderfluid is NOT considered to be bisexual.
@cmay7429
@cmay7429 8 ай бұрын
I'm not sure gender fluidity is always connected to sexuality. Gender fluidity has more to do with presentation and how the person "identifies." Of course, the whole idea is based in the notion that there's a "right" way to ONLY act like a man or ONLY act like a woman, when, in reality, most humans are complex and don't just exist within the narrow confines of gender stereotypes. (Like, have they bothered to look at the 80's?) So yeah, basically, "gender fluid" is a made up term that teens can call themselves so we know they "aren't like everybody else," while they do what everybody else has done before them - explore their sexuality and themselves, flout tradition, and wear weird fashion. 🙄 Bi-sexuality, on the other hand, means you can be sexually attracted to either sex.

Seeing all these "being sexually intimate with a trans 'woman' (with a penis) doesn't make you gay" TikToks reminds me of Iran's long term policy of forcing homosexual men to have sex changes or face life in jail/death, as if somehow the aesthetic of womanhood eradicates the 'shame' of being homosexual. I would always get confused when I would see a gay dude or a lesbian woman with someone who was trans. Cause like wouldn’t that just make you bisexual or pan? If you aren’t attracted to the opposite sex in a sexual way then why date a transgender? I guess I can kind of understand if the transgender went thru surgery to have different genitals but wouldn’t that still make them bi or pan?

I’m a ‘normal gay guy’ and I totally relate. Luckily I didn’t come out until I was 19, and all my friends were straight boys, (I went to an all-boys school) so I didn’t ‘need’ to affect ‘the gay aesthetic’ into my persona. Some people say I’m ‘straight acting’; I’m not. I just prefer the company of males, in general, so I don’t have feminine traits. If you were to observe me, I make it quite clear that I’m gay in subtle ways. Sometimes I do find myself exaggerating my gesticulations, etc., and talking in a more stereotypically ‘gay’ way, but it’s mainly to signal to women who find me attractive that I’m not interested.

You just gained a follow with this video! I'm a bisexual woman in my twenties and even though I'm not American, I can see the shift here in Germany as well. When I came out in my teen years I viewed LGBTQ+ as something positive and as an accepting place, but boy was I wrong...I've never felt free to speak my mind and when I did, I got called a transphobe because I said I didn't feel SEXUALLY attracted to trans people. I got harrassed and eventually left, never want to be associated with this movement anymore. Its also like they forgot what this movement originally stood for. People who died for our rights would be ashamed seeing what nowadays pride parades have become. I don't define myself by just my sexuality, doesn’t this actually limit yourself? We're defined by so much more, by our personality, interests etc and limiting this to "you have to act a certain way and believe xy" will prove to be harmful in the long run, as well as the obsession of trying to shut up every gay, lesbian, bi or trans etc. person who speaks against them.

I am so with you on this. Fellow bi woman here, who is also sick of this shit. The original (what I call "old style") LGBTQ I identified with, worked so hard to convince people that we're normal people who just want to be able to love who we love, that we cannot control who we're attracted to, and to dispell this idea that we're all perverted freaks who want to shove our sexuality down your throats. That there is so much more to us than just being "queer". We'd come such a long way. Now this new movement are undoing all of that, and are starting to convince the homophobes/transphobes that we're all the exact same disturbed freaks they have believed us to be all along. No wonder homophobia is on the rise again.

To be fair, I’ve heard multiple drag Queens state that they really would rather not have kids at their shows. These are usually the saucy performers. There are still your drag Queens performing Judy Garland numbers and I honestly don’t think it’s a problem if kids see that. But there are, as we know, the racier performers. I’ve now heard several expressly state that they DO NOT WANT KIDS AT THIER PERFORMANCES. Not because they don’t think kids should be exposed to drag but because they might be doing overtly sexual things or sometimes gory things and kids don’t need to be there. But parents are bringing them anyway. These drag Queens saying this are not happy to see these kids in the audience.

Like “Mark is a 42 year old from Sussex, who works in account and lives with his partner Alex. His love for baking comes from his grandmother teaching him the family recipes” Literally you wouldn’t know otherwise. In America, forget it. They were it on their sleeves, like a badge and ram it down your throat. Its overly flamboyant/feminine, as if that’s the only way to be. I know a few gay dudes here who aren't as LOUD about it, and I'm seeing more and more here everyday like that (ofc I'm in the South USA so I can't speak for my country as a whole)

I noticed the same thing with the GBBO, which I really appreciate it more and more! In a similar example, I recently purchased a cookbook from a KZfaqr I admired, and he dropped a simple sentence of "He lives in so and so with his husband and two cats" at the end of his author description. And I had no idea that he was gay, because for him, it's just a part of him, not the whole personality.

This is sick… this might as well be sexual assault on a minor….. if these people sent a photo of something like this to a minor on a computer, they would be in prison. Why is it ok to do it in public because there are rainbow flags around…… it’s no different

On the whole "you've gotta act a certain way"...I find that to be extremely degenerative. Honestly, for the first year and 4-months, I had absolutely no clue that my (then) relatively new best male friend was remotely gay until he came out and told me. He's big, very muscular and completely masculine. I, myself, am completely masculine...except doing "fun times" where I'm quite well very feminine during. And, unlike me only realizing that I'm gay after he came out and I found his flirtation very comforting and natural, he's been solely gay for over 25yrs...and he's always been masculine. Interesting part, is that he's only attracted to masculine gay men; says "if I wanted feminine, I'd be straight "😂

I literally had a conversation with my brother (21 years old) about how sexuality and who you are as a person are two different things. He got major defensive and was saying, "BEING GAY IS YOU YOU ARE! IT IS WHO I AM AS A PERSON!" Chileeeee

Ikr! Being gay is not your whole personality! I literally know gay people who believe gay stuff is bad and they're happy about doing celibacy because they know their sexuality is not their whole lifestyle!

Great video. I'm a straight adult male. I known many gay people throughout my life and never had any problems with any of them. To tell the truth I never really put much thought into it, I've always thought every adult has the right to live the way they want to live but the last few years my opinions have changed. I think it's absolutely wrong to go after children and schools. Without knowing any better i started thinking of the whole community as the same. Thank you Amir for showing me there is still a difference between LGB and the rest of the insanity.

As someone older, living under the ever expanding rainbow 'community' watching this insanity, I'm reminded of that scene in the Exorcist where Father Merrin sums up the insanity. "I think the point is to make us despair. To see ourselves as... animal and ugly. To make us reject the possibility that God could love us."

How did we get here is the only question worth asking. We got here through two situations. One is that western countries like the US, Canada, the UK, etc., have had no real problems for two whole generations. No wars on our soil, no economic depressions, and a lot of the genuine fights against real oppression were mostly won by the 1990's, so no one has any realistic perspective, yet wants a cause to fight for, to feel virtuous ie virtue signaling. The second is far worse. There are many powerful people in this world, working together across the western world to make this confusion fester, to twist language and unmoor everyone so we are in-fighting, mentally ill and thus, easy to fool and control. And it's obviously working.

'western countries like the UK, Canada, and the USA have had no real problems for two whole generations' Dude, that is the furthest possible thing from the truth. Residential schools in Canada didn't stop operation until the mid 90's, and today in 2023, hundreds of indigenous communities have no access to clean drinking water, not to mention the number of indigenous women who go missing every year (far higher than any other demographic in Canada) and have their disappearances brushed off and ignored by the police. You say that most of the 'genuine fights against real oppression' were won by the 90's, completely ignoring the fact that the suicide rate among young trans people is around 40% in the US. The wait for medical treatment in the UK can be up to and over a YEAR. Women's healthcare is being stripped away all around the globe, not to mention the restrictions being placed on education in the southern US. Do you not consider things like that to be genuine problems?
