Idk if you count this as a movie hot take but DC TV shows are better than DC movies, Titans, arrowverse, swamp thing, stargirl, doom patrol, superman and lois, smallville, the sandman, sweet tooth and a few others beats atleast the DCEU.

Batman & Robin is one of the greatest things for comic book movies. First of all, I’m glad it exists as a fun parody of Batman, I don’t take it seriously, its an awesome movie in its own right. Second, it was a wake up call to go more serious with the comic book movie genre. Without Batman & Robin, TDK trilogy wouldn’t have been as good and as serious as it was.

Lego Movie is AWESOME and Lego Batman is also damn good. Lego Ninjago movie was pretty mediocre and I enjoyed Lego Movie 2 when I saw it but I just never revisited it. Lego Movie 1 & Batman are great tho

Batman 89 is best Batsy movie next to The Batman. Burton grotesque fits this character perfectly, Gotham is stunning and Michael is awesome in character. I love also characterisation of Bruce and clearly saying that he's nuts (no pun intented). There is a lot about this character in screenplay especially in famous nuts scene. I think too many ppl right now gives it bad time because it's different from source material but forgetting how influencial it was for superhero movies or even just movies at the time. I like Batman Return also but sequel lost character somewhere under villans. 89 is about Batman

Batman'89 and The Batman are my favourite Batman Movies as well. I get that Burton's Style of Filmmaking isn't for everyone, but NO Director's style is for EVERYONE. Burton's storytelling style is different from Nolan's, it was more of a Show-Don't Tell kind of story, which I I might actually prefer to Nolan's Long Speech After Long Speech Style. Besides, as someone who likes art on display, I have respect for Burton's Artistic Style to Gotham and the Costumes, especially Batman's Suit. Michael Keaton and Robert Pattinson are my favourite Batmen. I agree with everything you said about the movie.

Zack Snyders justice league is on par with Infinity War And Endgame Edit: I didn’t see the ending before I wrote this but it’s true though the reason I love it so much I actually made a cut of the movie myself where it’s 3 hours and 32 minutes

I’d argue ZSJL is better than endgame. I get that endgame is an end of an era and can get emotional at parts and I enjoy it for the most part but it gets into that typical MCU style at times whereas ZSJL is more consistent with its tone and is more focused at its story from beginning to end

Umm I mean let’s go through the list imo I think Wonder Woman is better, aqua man is better, the suicide squad is better, Zack Snyders justice league is better, Shazam is better. I would say it’s top 6 to top 7. Though I love it’s getting a lot of love

While the movie is long af which is a valid criticism, I definitely think ZSJL is as good as Infinity War, if not better. I've legit watched that movie like 5,6 times since it has come out whereas infinity war maybe 2,3 times since theatres. I also think zsjl is better than the batman, now to me that movie was a slog.

I think that Dark Knight Rises is not a good movie. It has the most plot holes in the trilogy and there’s only 2 or 3 scenes with Batman in them.

Another Great Video Chris!!! There are two of your Hot Takes I definitely agree with: 1) The Batman is the BEST Batman Movie. 2) Zack Snyder's Justice League is INCREDIBLY OVERRATED (I actually hated the movie because of how all-over-the-place the storytelling was and how bored I got by the end).

I disagree with literally every take. That’s a problem for them because it feels like a 50/50 split with what people want. But it’s the general audience that will decide. Nobody went to go see the Gunn Suicide Squad when other Covid movies were attended. Thst shoukd be a huge concern for them along with really all of the light hearted movies tanking. I think they do better with the darker stuff. Didn’t like the Batman . Everyone whispering and Batman walking around knocking on doors instead of slinking in the shadows I thought was less interesting. Bruce having the same personality and hring given the answers and not really solving anything were strange choices to me.

Shazam 2 is a fantastic heart warming family movie and you have to be all types of jaded to put it anywhere below a B grade. It does plenty of new things people ignore, has got a great score, and is one of the best SUPERHERO solo SEQUELS of all time. Having very few rivals outside Superman 2, Across The Spiderverse, Winter Soldier, Spiderman 2 and Batman sequels. Think about it. Most solo Superhero sequels are Waaaaaaayyyyyyyyy worst than Shazam 2. Whether it be WW84, `iron man 2, Antman and The Wasp, Thor 2, Iron Man 2 etc. Shazam 2 is in the elite of solo Superhero sequels and if you say different you are lying to yourself and others.

@Jepze158 Definitely. Effects from Empire Strikes Back and Raiders of the Lost Ark have aged more gracefully, and those movies were released in between Sups 1 and 2. Hard to take any of the poorly aged action choreography seriously in those movies even for their time.

Like seriously? I swear you’re just repeating what everyone on the internet has to say about the flash. That’s what it’s all about nowadays, following the crowd and not having one’s own opinion. Why are we even concerned if a movie has bad cgi? Like it’s about the story and the movie itself not if the cgi looks good enough. The only case where you can look at that is if it takes away from the movie which it didn’t. The flash was a good movie stop repeating what everyone has to say. I swear that’s everyone nowadays including you is just trashing on any movie possible when you can
