I admire the Band, but I simply LOVE Su's stage presence. Always get goosebumps when the Queen appears- and what a voice! Shes outstanding.

A rondo is a song with a repeating chorus where each verse is given a different musical treatment. The song is of a repeating nightmare of being pursued by an unseen demon. In the quiet verse she resigns to her fate but bravely asks the demon to show its form. The staging on this is incredible with Su-metal on a raised platform waltzing to the chorus like a music box dancer with the band below on the slowly rotating stage.

Excellent - and probably BABYMETAL's darkest song lyrically. Su is caught in a recurring nightmare, something (she doesn't know who or what) is chasing her. The bit where she hangs her head she is hiding in a fountain and finally accepting her fate she asks that if she can't get out and is to die will whatever is chasing her at least reveal it's form. The Mischiefs of the metal Gods (I believe is the correst full title) intro is great and gives you some idea of what the Kami Band can do. Here we had Leda Cygnus (blue guitar), Takayoshi Ohmura (gold guitar), BOH (6 string bass - and no not too many people play them I think) and Hideki Aoyama (drums).

When anybody watches Babymetal for the first time you'd never believe that they have this many great songs.

⚡ / 🔥 😱 🔥 That instrumental title always gets truncated. It's 'Mischief of the Metal Gods'. This performance of 'Rondo of Nightmare (and 'Akatsuki' from the same concert) are what made me a die-hard fan.

This was the song that made me a Babymetal fan. It shows full potential of Kami Band and Suzuka's voice.

Again, just 16 here. And the Kami are amazing. What can you say without sounding like a broken record? The Legend S concert is just $2.99 to rent right now, or $8 to buy a digital copy. Although Yui had just fallen sick and it's only Su and Moa. But the audience sang Yui's part all nights. Still a good show

The band come out and give you a lesson then Su comes out and gives you a master class in how you follow an intro like that . Yes Su gives you that look again .it is great when Moa or Yui smile at you, it melts you heart but Su looking stright at you is something else. 🤘😍🤘

Kami band spotlight!!! Su is amazing!!! Speaking of Babymetal dvd or blu-ray. They are kind of pricey. Picked up a couple of Babymetal blu-rays on Amazon for decent price. Babymetal Live at Budokan Red Night & Black Night in 2014 will give you songs from the first album. Its a really a good one and shot well. Live at Tokyo Dome is good to. Good luck!!!

Basically summoned Queen Su-Metal with the Godlike mastery of their instruments. So the lore says. The Kami Band is a very important part of what makes BABYMETAL what it is and the fans know this and love the Kamis (almost) as much as the girls. We're The One !

You cant miss wirh the Live at Budokan Red Night/Black Night. Its famous for the Yui fall from the stage during Headbanger and then Moa taking a header the very next song and hurting her knee. Both of them carried on like troopers.

well .... technically backing band should not be known but there is some special cases and Kami band is one of those special cases.

Told ya. Most metal thing in recent memory. Her voice is so clear and powerful through the hard metal music and most importantly she is on key. The Kami Band has some of the most gifted musicians on the planet. You can get their shows on iTunes but you would have to import the dvd or blu ray and they would not be cheap.

Search for Aoyama Hideki. That's their drummer. He is the son of Aoyama Jun who was also a famous drummer before his passing about 7 years ago.

The power of Kami-Band and Queen SU! Live at Budokan (from this video is from) is very good start if you want a DVD from them, you can find it for a good price.

There are quite a few live DVDs to choose from and can be decently priced if you order from Amazon Japanese or someplace else.

I like to support bricks-and-mortar shops whenever possible. I'm in the UK and got hold of the Budokan, Live in London, and Live at Wembley DVDs from HMV (I've just checked and they're all still available), so I would imagine in the US your local record store will be happy to order them for you and the price should be reasonable.
