For an American, you have more Eurovision knowledge than most reviewers and should be on all international jury's. Positive articulate vibes all around. You are Fabulous! As for Bambie Thug, just loving them. They consider their-self as Non Binary Queer. Love the stunning visuals. Love their coat that had QUEER spray painted on the back. A genuine creative. Love the Celtic Irish symbols and Witchcraft vibes. Dont forget Halloween is an Irish tradition, so they appear more authentic. The mix of Jazz, Pop, Electro-Metal with a sprinkle of Depeche Mode, all blends so well. Bambie has their own musical genre, they like to call Ouija-Pop, not Goth. A mix of several music genres mixed together. Good Luck in Malmö, Celtic Queen ☘️💜

I think Bambi will know exactly how they want the stage to look and how they want the song to sound . Bambi seems like a perfectionist with a vision for each song they sing . I love the complexity of their character and how they know exactly who they are . As dark as this song is we can all relate to the anger , the wanting the other person to regret their decision and be haunted by it but also wanting them back to take away the pain . Hi, I am so happy with Ireland's choice, a bit risky , but why not! I know you have a gazillion songs to listen to at the moment, but PLEASE, treat yourself to Bambie Thug's "Love Bites". It came up on my Spotify and yes, the algorithms know me better than I know myself! It's a beautiful piece of Ouija pop, maybe reminiscent of Sinead O'Connor, but just so. Stunning. All it needs is a good staging and a bit of direction and I think it's the whole package. I don't get ppl who say it's NQ because it's divisive, being divisive is good because that means an entry is distinct enough to grab people's attention. It doesn't matter if some people hate it, all it needs is enough people to love it (which it def does)

Yes, yes and yes. They already have some key concepts done well for the staging, it’s just about elevating certain elements and supporting the vocal. I’m shocked how well that came across on the Late Late stage. The final 3rd on the Malmo stage is going to be incredible. Also think this song can get through from any position in the running order. You’re not going to forget this performance and it’s daring enough to grab a decent portion of the televoters.

From tonight's performances this was the only one that could convince me on a bigger stage so hopefully Ireland's right decision finally pays off. But ffs, improve the placement of the national final for future years cause eveybody sounded off and with Bambie the music was quite low.

Hi Alesia just came upon you here thanks for your excellent presentation and evaluation not to mention your first class suggestions. Although I didn't listen to the Irish Eurovision broadcast live, afterwards when I heard the winning song I immediately replayed the song which is something I haven't done in recent years. Yes I believe this song will go far it seems to have everything starting with the opening witch scene like something straight out of Act 1, scene 1 of Shakespeare's 'Macbeth' and that haunting voice so adorable and reminiscent of the wonderful Kate Bush and those powerful chorus lines(s) "I, I, I know you're living a lie" could be a mantra pulled right out of the Advaita Vedanta School. I love the originality. I love her presence. I definitely would want this to qualify for the finals! But the song seems to be the longest three minutes to me 😂 maybe it’s the pacing between intense metal and then the soft stars section. I just listened to her song Tsunami (11:11) which was really good ❤ Love the video ❤ generally speaking metal doesn’t seem to get many votes at Eurovision. I’m thinking of Germany last year, but you never know.

As a Norwegian, this international jury makes me TERRIFIED for our own jury next week 😭 I really want Gåte but I’m worried they’ll think what you’re saying, that they wanna “help us” send something safe and pop-adjacent like Keiino or Margaret when a regular top 10 country like Norway doesn’t NEED to rely on that. We don’t need another “bop” that’ll just get 4th in televote and 20th with the jury.

Love your analysis and subscribed. A bit more production (like the studio version) required on the vocals, particularly the second verse. Also, the final "blue" before the ending "rage" could do with something like the studio echoes as it "drops" too much. Maybe the echoes, themselves, could evolve into a sound like the final overdriven guitar, which is brilliant as it rises in the mix. In that way, the voice becomes one with the final guitar rage and the screeching is laid on top of them all! I wouldn't like to see more dancers as that would take away from the attention on Bambie.

Not entirely my cup of tea but I hope for Ireland's sake it qualifies for the final. I do worry that it might be too out there for voters on both sides of the voting spectrum. But agree that RTE needs to move the final beyond The Late Late Show format because it's too limiting for the artists.

I would personally have picked Ailsha but I did think the staging was much too bright. It would have been a contender for my top spot. Erica-Cody, Isabelle and JyellowL did not sound good vocally. Next In Line were ok but ultimately much too vanilla. Bambie Thug has parts I like and parts I don’t. Good staging, decent vocal although the performance felt a little more theatrical than rock star… but overall I just haven’t gotten into this yet. Maybe in time. It does make me wonder if that is a bad omen though, the lack of instant appeal (at least to some). I tried to like it myself but I haven’t gotten through the entire song without turning it off yet. Some of the noisy parts get on my nerves and it’s not because I don’t like alternative music. But maybe it’s just me.

I dont know if i like this song very much, or i hate it. Its unique, without a doubt. And i think Ireland gets a higher chance to reach the final. She is not the best singer, and some parts of the songs are annoying, some parts are good. So i dont know, what this song reachs in ESC.
