Lol without rose’ high notes this song is just average. Idk how much u guys know about music or maybe u guys just happy lisa and jisoo given longer vocal lines but do not forget who the main vocalist is. Without the main vocal group cannot be on top. ( p.s jennies voice does not fit this song at all shes more onto r&b )

@@knives26 everyone is aware of how talented Rosé is, the reason people are so caught up with Lisa and jisoo here is because everyone is already aware of Rosie and what she can do. Whereas Lisa and jisoo singing like this is refreshing and slightly unexpected respectfully. It’s also more so about the tones of Lisa & jisoos voices that again is “refreshing” because we don’t hear them sing like this often unfortunately.

It's STUNNINGLY good. There was a gut punch at the end of their last album. This time it literally comes out of nowhere amongst those poppy bouncy tunes. Then they slow way down and take their time and REALLY sing this one. Lisa too!!! Jisoo really shines here. It is an amazing piece of art!! I can't imagine them doing this live. HOW would they get thru it?

Remember the sledge hammer Lisa used on a car in the MV for 'Lovesick Girls'? Apparently she translated that over to vocal weight; That hammer gets passed around the group so whoever is singing does so while holding the damned thing. This song does hit like you said, just like that sledge. WHAM, right in the guts.
