Great commentary. A barefoot princess with a hypnotic voice. As usual, a vocal master piece. The barefoot is part of Angelina's mission to get shoes all kids of this world and she set up a charity for this. When she visited Iran, her grandmothers country of origin, she saw a young girl barefoot begging at the side of the road. Angelina gave the girl her shoes and decided to always perform without shoes. Along with her grandmother, who is a known artist, they wrote and published a book about the incident. It made Angelina the youngest person in Norway to publish a book. The proceedes go to her charity, so far she has collected, along with others, over 21 million Euro's.

Angelina is the World's Ambassador of Love. As far as the vocals go, they are out-of-this-world beautiful & heartfelt.

Angie is the best in all of us. It goes back to her giving her shoes to someone who had none at age six. Maybe even before that. She performed (eight years old barefooted) at the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize Concert. She has helped raise millions of dollars on behalf of environmental causes and children's charities around the world. The Crown Prince of Norway was doing a virtual visit to California. He met with authorities there and as closing of a part of the visit, they invited Angelina to sing (of course virtually too from her studio in Los Angeles). As you pointed out, in this official occasion, instead of promoting one of her new songs, she chose to sing a song that has carried a deep message for more than 30 years. We need to care more for each other. Love conquers all! I appreciate the fact that you appreciate the artist as a person just as much (or more) than you do as a source of entertainment. I've always felt that if we couldn't do at least that much for those whose artistic efforts we enjoy so much, maybe they should charge us a lot more for whatever it is they provide. But maybe that's just me.

Unexpectedly, it turned out that I just loved this performance. Initially I thought that the original was somewhat overly pompous with kind of too much sugar on it (hope this makes sense). So Michael Jacksons official release of this song didn't really catch me. And then came Angelina. In my opinion this is the way this song should be done. Beautiful singing, , gorgeous sound and a voice that penetrates my mind (in a good way). She really sings this song directly to me. And a big hand to the piano player as well. This is one of the song that i really took it to heart beside Earth by lil dicky . Because of my real name which in arabic mean natural , i tend to stick to what happen to the earth , i enjoy a walk in the park looking at the tree and lake all that . I hear reactors speak to the scarcity of positive artists getting their due. And then I hear a complaint about runs. Angelina Jordans does runs because it is soothing to her when she performs. As for the comment about the artists on top today, well people me and you continue to accept what they put out. Until we decide to make the world a better place and hold our dollar from poor performers then continue to get what we got. Right now demand is being set by a supply.
