Love him doing that soulful, haunting Scottish style singing. There isn't much if anything he can't knock out of the stadium. Dan is no "pretty boy". He's talented as hell, backed up by a nice personality, is totally passionate about refining his gift, and is gorgeous in such an understated way to boot.

Dave, I love watching your reviews of Dan’s music. A few times I’ve drifted onto “reviews” by others and it is never a pleasant trip. It’s almost like they are obligated to criticize everything about his performance in a negative way. It irritates me to come close to view these people in a negative way in reply. Especially irritating are the vocal coaches who are acting like Dan’s vocals are easily matched. But if they know how to explain away his techniques, let them try to do as well. Dave, you do an honest valuation of his voice and react as many of us do when seeing and hearing him perform. Speaking of seeing him perform, if people are only listening to him singing, they are missing half of his performance. Dan Vasc puts himself into his music, he uses every part of himself to emphasize the message of the lyrics! His facial expressions can be emotional, his hands and arms also get the point across. He can’t just stand there and sing, at the least he does “the Dan bounce” in upbeat songs. But when he grabs that large microphone 🎙️, brace yourself because you know something “epic” is about to happen like a high heavy metal note will come out of him. When I have something to turn my attention to, like housework, I can’t have his video playing because I just have to hear AND see his performance. Keep doing what you do Dave. I know you will give an honest appraisal of his talents.
