Hi Angie, I just came across your channel yesterday and I really like your content. Mostly because you articulate the certain steps to become a working actor in a very practical way. Now, I'm a Must-Join, I received waivers from doing BG, but became a must-join because of a photo double role I was lucky to book. I've been doing this for about 3 years now, I've taken beginner's acting classes and a commercial class, and still continuing that training. Also, auditioning on actors access and casting networks. However, my actor friends, really hound me to join SAG-AFTRA, but I refuse because I don't want to keep doing BG while in the union. I'd like to seek representation and book a job that requires it, and join that way. Am I gauging this correctly? (Sorry for the long message)
