the e is for exposure

D is disability (spinal cord damage) and E is exposure (hidden lacerations, bullet holes, etc.)

I remember having a chest x ray when I had an asthma attack. Glad I'm feeling better and doing better no hospital visits or urgent care visits either

One thing to mention is that the heart silhouette changes in size depending on how the CXR was taken - PA films have smaller hearts while AP ones have bigger ones.

@@dr_chiropractor Chest PA with lateral view is the standard. Chest PA is suggested for adults while AP for child below 8 or those in bed ridden.

Great video! A better way to see if the penetration is good is to check if you can see the thoracic vertebrae through the heart shadow.

Will you please give me advice In My chest X ray some abnormality found that is Some nodular opacity noted in bilateral perihiller region. Sir please explain me this line in simple word . Is it normal or not. Indian armed police force has gave me re medical in X ray .

Lộc Trần there is an angle present in between costa and diaphragm termed as costophrenic angle. U can “ consider “ this angle as apex of triangle and base of this triangle to be formed by lungs “ Fine marking “ ( this triangle appears darkest ) Costodiaphragmatic recess is present in region of this triangle. Which gets obliterated during effusion.p thus appearing lighter.

It is the fine white lines on the lungs, if it is not visible then the x-ray image is either too dark (over exposed) or too light (under exposed) or it could be due to a pneumothorax.
